However, I was later told they couldn't consistently recreate it, so no resolution was provided. I understand intermittent problems can be difficult to diagnose. However, I've explained that my vehicle sometimes sits unused for several days. Starting it every day doesn't reflect the conditions under which I experience the problem. I shouldn't need to start my vehicle daily just to rely on it. Before dropping it off again today, it took nearly five minutes to get it started. This has become stressful, especially when I'm left waiting after medical appointments. I'm hoping this visit leads to thorough testing under the conditions I've described, clear communication, and a lasting resolution. During our interaction, Brian approached me within inches of my face, repeatedly calling me a "bitch" and a "whore" while also stating, "I will hunt you down." Whether intended as a threat or not, these comments were intimidating, inappropriate, and entirely inconsistent with the standards of conduct expected from a professional business. I also witnessed another customer, an African American couple, attempting to address concerns about their own vehicle after experiencing similar issues. According to their account, their vehicle worked for only a short period before the problems returned. While their interaction did not escalate to the level of verbal abuse and intimidation that I experienced, their concerns appeared to be dismissed rather than addressed. This review will be updated based on how the business chooses to address these concerns, whether through meaningful resolution, refusal to engage, or the outcome of any civil remedies available to me. Customers have a right to expect competent workmanship, honest communication, and a safe, respectful environment in which to ask questions about repairs performed on their vehicles. Businesses have a corresponding responsibility to address customer concerns professionally and to maintain an environment free from behavior that could reasonably be perceived as threatening, intimidating, or abusive. Extremely bad work and shoddy parts…read more I had them install new brakes in the summer of 2024. By the winter of 2025, the brakes were wobbling. Apparently the brakes they installed were faulty (the rotors warped), but they still charged be $200 to replace them even though they were still under warranty. That would be fine, I guess, if they had done a good job or used good parts the second time, but it's been 2 months and my brakes are grinding and slipping. Apparently, the pins, the rotors, the pin boots, the pads, and a few other parts are so low quality that they're falling apart already. At this point, I'm not trusting my car to these guys again. I took my car to the mechanic near my work in Fredericksburg and paid him $500 to just do the job correctly. I deeply regret not taking my car to him in the first place, as he would have done a good job, stood by his work, and I wouldn't be out $700 for bad work and bad parts. Do yourself a favor and go to a different mechanic.
