Until mom's house was sold, I could not close her estate. I told Jason that I wanted to sell the house as quickly as possible and I did not want to do any work on the house unless absolutely necessary. I met Jason at mom's house. He took photos. Asked questions to find out about the house and what I my needs and expectations were. After that meeting I don't think I saw Jason until the closing about three weeks later. Jason had a plan to get the most money possible for the house which he explained very clearly. Within about 5 days, there were many offers placed on mom's house. In the end, the house actually sold for $20,000 over the appraised value. And I did zero work on the house to prep it for sale. Jason handled everything, and I mean everything. If something needed to be signed, he emailed it to be to be signed electronically. He made this very simple and hands off for me while keeping informed of things along the way. If I had a friend or loved one looking to purchase or sell a home, I would very highly recommend that they partner with Jason to meet their needs. I have sold and bought several houses in my lifetime. This was hands down the easiest and most profitable of all those experiences.

DaShawn was also the only realtor we reached out to that wanted to jump on a call with us to really get to know our needs (other than bed/bath count), which was the reason we chose him as our realtor in the first place. He pointed out "quick flips" as we were touring, which was very helpful for us; he taught us to look under the cosmetics of things like flooring and paint. Where we could have used more support from DaShawn was during the negotiation / closing process. Had we not done our own research and had a good understanding of unique ways to write an offer, the outcome may have been different. Additionally, once our offer was accepted, we felt we had to do a lot of reaching out to DaShawn on progress of closing, and felt mislead on the seller's perspective of getting to an agreement on the sale of the house and the additional lot next door. Overall, we enjoyed working with him and would recommend DaShawn to more experienced home buyers.

Luckily, he accepted us as clients, and through the course of selling our home and buying another, he's become our friend. He presented strategies to us first and let us pick which ones to employ so we always felt in control. If we didn't understand something and asked for his professional advice, he explained it clearly, and gave us pros and cons on how different scenarios have played out for his previous clients. Working with DaShawn was such a positive experience overall. I recommend him without hesitation!

January 12, 2014…read more Jason, Thank you so much for all your help selling our Carmel home. We expected a real estate agent to help us price and market the house, but your work went above and beyond. This is the eighth house we've sold and it was by far the best experience with a real estate agent. That was especially rewarding to us since I had already left town and Suzanne had to manage the process by herself. Your market analysis and explanation of the process was spot-on. And the way you used your contractor network to get our house ready for market on a tight time schedule made the home stand out. We really appreciated your follow-up after showings. It seemed whenever there was a glimmer of interest, you were on top of it, uncovering prospects' concerns, and helping overcome them. While we wished the final sale went more smoothly, you turned potential deal-breakers into a closing. Be it the roof issue, or the items included in the sale, you made it work. We welcome the chance to act as a referral for you. We would use you again in a heartbeat. Wishing you continued success. Kurt Meyer Sales Operations and Voluntary Benefits Executive
