Luckily, he accepted us as clients, and through the course of selling our home and buying another, he's become our friend. Even our teenagers think he's cool, and we all know teenagers are hard to impress! DaShawn listened to our needs and wants and developed strategies to make them happen. He presented strategies to us first and let us pick which ones to employ so we always felt in control. If we didn't understand something and asked for his professional advice, he explained it clearly, and gave us pros and cons on how different scenarios have played out for his previous clients. Working with DaShawn was such a positive experience overall. I recommend him without hesitation!

As first time home buyers, we enjoyed working with DaShawn. He is attentive and responds to emails…read more/ calls quickly; and he set up numerous house showings on one day that followed a great timeline. DaShawn was also the only realtor we reached out to that wanted to jump on a call with us to really get to know our needs (other than bed/bath count), which was the reason we chose him as our realtor in the first place. He pointed out "quick flips" as we were touring, which was very helpful for us; he taught us to look under the cosmetics of things like flooring and paint. Where we could have used more support from DaShawn was during the negotiation / closing process. Had we not done our own research and had a good understanding of unique ways to write an offer, the outcome may have been different. Additionally, once our offer was accepted, we felt we had to do a lot of reaching out to DaShawn on progress of closing, and felt mislead on the seller's perspective of getting to an agreement on the sale of the house and the additional lot next door. Overall, we enjoyed working with him and would recommend DaShawn to more experienced home buyers.

Don't bother if you aren't a local. These people are incompetent, and I don't think I have ever…read morefelt so insulted. Let me start off by saying Patricia was extremely pleasant and helpful. I am moving to Indianapolis from New Orleans because my landlord is selling the house, and my mother (who lives in Indy) needs help taking care of my grandfather. I currently manage a fine dining restaurant (rated 7th in the country, I'm quite proud). I have a 620 credit score (not amazing, I have been working on it), no evictions, and have lived in the same rental now for 4 years. I currently gross $2,200 biweekly ($4,400 per month), and receive $1300 quarterly bonuses. I secured a job in Indy as a bartender in the Marriott across from the Convention center. I emailed Natalie at FS houses when I submitted my application detailing my situation. She didn't respond. Finally I get a hold of Patricia who is great! She accommodates my need for a video tour, and does an in person tour for my mom. I reach back out to Natalie about the status of my application. She asks if I have an "actual" job. I find this to be condescending, especially considering I told her I had already secured employment in my first email, but let it slide. I send her an offer letter from my new boss stating I will average $1200-$1400 a week. I am denied. I am told I only make $1300 a month. What? No Natalie, the $1300 paystub was my quarterly bonus. "Oh well you only make $2200 a month then." Natalie, did you actually read my paystubs? I make $2200 bi weekly. Oh well, your credit isn't good enough. 620? I financed a $17,000 car with this credit, but cant rent a home? "Oh well, you'll be a bartender." Bartenders don't live in homes and pay rent? What the actual F*%^ is wrong with these people? Talk about discrimination. The ICING ON THE CAKE? Natalies "boss" who makes all final decisions without actually speaking to any applicants, says that I should move to Indy (with no home to move to), work for a month (while homeless), and THEN show them proof of income to get approved. When the house I want will already be rented. Because I guess my new boss is a liar? I offered to pay deposit and two months rent up front- thats over $3500- because clearly I am not irresponsible. Still denied. These people are on a power trip and are completely clueless as to how the real world works. Don't waste your time or money.

For…read morethe last 4 years or so, it has been a struggle getting monthly statements, rent money that was paid by the tenants, or even a response to my emails/calls/texts. I have been under a tremendous amount of stress because the last time I heard from Rob was August 14, 2025 and the last time he sent me rent money from the tenant was November 10, 2025. I had lost my job for a period of time but finally found work and then my boyfriend recently lost his job. I've done my best to stay afloat and have put so much time and money into the house that I have really been working to keep it. If Rob was sending me the money from the tenant I would be fine, but I cannot afford to pay our rent and the mortgage anymore with only 1 income. The house was vacant last year and cost me quite a bit of money and I explained my struggles to Rob multiple times. He is a licensed real estate broker # RC51800090 and legally responsible to hold funds in trust when accepting them from a tenant on behalf of a property owner. He legally cannot participate in deceptive practices when doing business as a licensee. I have documented all the times I've attempted to reach him with no responses. If this happens to you, file a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General for the state of Indiana and include the license number above. They will investigate the matter and my hope is that he will do the right thing or lose his license so he cannot do this to anyone else.
