If you're looking for a place with all the amenities (pool, bar, restaurant, bathrooms, showers etc.) this is not the place. But if you are looking for quiet, protected, easy going and friendly people, this place fits the bill. The owners are adding stuff continually as they can afford too, so this place is a great place for people who are looking for a long term or permanent spot. Lots of good restaurants and services close by. We love the fact that this place is not a big party park like most on this lake, yet they do have some fun get togethers with live music and great BBQ cooked by Dave. Great laid back and easygoing park. We love it!

We thought we were booking a…read moreplace where we could relax a little and not have to run all over the area looking for restaurants and activities. The only good thing about the place is that the cabins are ok. They are clean but rustic. The pool is small and filled with kids during the day, not relaxing. The amenities that they are touting are not there. Much to our surprise when we went to the "restaurant" for dinner, they ONLY have pizza! The only guy working in there said that the person who made all of the other food had quit...only pizza available. Yet they are still advertising that they have a diverse menu of food! We inquired about renting jet skis and paddle boards at the boathouse. Nope, none of that available! The reasoning was something about their boating insurance being canceled. Not sure why they even have a boathouse! We had booked for 4 nights. Stayed the first night while we decided what to do because this wasn't going to work. We had an all day excursion the 2nd day (on the other side of the lake) so couldn't pack up and move until later that day, 6:30pm. After many calls from Oscar and Morgan, it was decided that we would get a refund. How much was never discussed in writing and we would have been ok with a 2 day refund since we had stayed late on the 2nd day. We spent hours discussing and looking for an air bnb, which took time out of our vacation. We found a place and packed up and left. The next day, we received a message from Oscar that he was NOT refunding anything! Dealing with Oscar was a nightmare. He was the rudest OWNER of a business catering to travelers that I've ever encountered. He simply didn't care! Please read lots of reviews before booking this place! There are many unhappy people who have been staying there for years saying that the place has really gone downhill.

Our fifth wheel is long and a few of the spots are tricky, so the owner was nice backup to spot us while we parked it. There is a nice lake for fishing or relaxing and they even have a sweet non-denominational church service on Sunday mornings (in season). If there is only one downside, it's the lengthy entry to get into the park. It's a gravel road that shouldn't be taken quickly. Really looking forward to returning!
