I have been a patient of Dr. Nistar's for the past year and a half, following her taking over the practice of my previous dentist who retired. Her staff is very good! They call you at least once within the week of to remind you of your scheduled appointment, as well as sending you a reminder weeks prior in the mail. The office is very clean, and in a great location 1604/Sonterra/281. Dr. Nistar is very kind and takes her time with every patient. During my last visit I had to get two fillings. Undoubtedly, going to Dr. Nistar's office was the best dental/medical office experience I have ever had. Dr. Nistar combines thorough technical knowledge and professionalism with a welcoming, friendly manner that could set even the most nervous patient at ease. Moreover, she works with the finest precision that I have ever experienced. I have been to other dentists who installed fillings in a hurry and caused some misalignment with my bite; Dr. Nistar, on the other hand, took the time to make everything perfect. (Also, everyone who has had dental work knows that the delivery of the anaesthetic shots is the scariest/most painful part of the procedure, but Dr. Nistar has such a deft hand that I barely noticed them when they were being administered.) Dr. Nistar's staff members are also top-notch. Their friendly, comforting chairside manner is clearly not the result of artificial training, but a natural fitness for patient care. The schedule is superbly well-organized, and I have never been left waiting there; they provide detailed, individualized, genuinely sympathetic dental care, while simultaneously maintaining an industrious and efficient professional ethic which ensures that all patients feel that their time is valued. I had avoided going to the dentist for nearly a decade, and so I felt no small amount of trepidation when I finally scheduled an appointment, but I quickly realized that a great dental visit can be not just painless, but even enjoyable. I finally got a temporary crowning done today, and I just wanted again to thank Dr. Nistar, her assistant Diane, and Kimberly for going the extra mile to keep me calm and taking care of my tooth. What I love is that she takes her time to make sure the work is done correctly and always asking to see if my comfort level is ok. I've never experienced such time and care at my previous dentist. It always felt rushed, but not here. She goes above and beyond. I'll be seeing her in 2 weeks to get my real crowning in, and I expect nothing less from her. The staff at this office are amazing! They are there to greet you with a smile and a hello! It is a very refreshing atmosphere. Dr. Nistar is a friendly dentist that listens and always ensures your comfortable and things are going well during any appointment/procedure. Dr. Nistar really is a great dentist. She saw me last night and all the staff, even though it was after 6 pm, was friendly, energetic and very good at what they did. Dr Nistar herself is really great at patient care and bedside manner. She spent the time and effort to make sure I was hearing and understanding everything she was telling me and she was also personally interested in me, which is unusual for doctors. I can't say anything negative about this place; it is beyond any shadow of a doubt a great place for dental care. I would recommend Dr. Nistar to anyone looking tor good dental care. read more

Dr. Nistar and her staff are professional, attentive, and perform quality care. She is well educated, highly experienced, and her office has modern equipment. I had to have many fillings replaced and they made the process simple and painless.
