What I thought would be a salad topped with shredded chicken, dressed in some spicy Thai inspired vinagrette turned out to be a plate of shredded chicken, topped with some salad leaves and dosed with peppers. This was the heaviest meat to greens ratio I had ever seen in a salad. It would have been a more welcome surprise if I was feeling more carnivorous. The dessert menu was also quite tempting. I ordered the chocolate hazelnut ice cream, and it looked just like the picture in the menu, but it was more reminiscent of generic grocery store ice cream with fudge sauce from a bottle. Meh.

You can also see that their prices are quite good. The food is pretty good and a good value for the money--especially if you stop in for the lunch specials. Service is reasonable and the staff are attentive. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but it could be a little brighter. So, I recommend you request a seat to the left as you come in. As a bonus, they have ample free parking. So, if you want a tasty meal and don't mind going a little outside of town, consider Chang Siam.
