I was hoping for a gargantuan bowl of pho, but was told by the proprietor that it would not sell well in this area! Really? The entire England needs good pho, badly. But every other dish was quite good. Hot and sour soup lived up to its name. Fried shrimp with salt and pepper had the right amount of scallions. Sizzling steak fillet was served with great sauce on hot plate. Stir fry mixed vegetables had fantastic hot wok flavor. And Singapore noodles was spicy and curry enough to tickle your nose. Prices are fair and service was good. Deserves a revisit.

As I was in a rush, I did not have a chance to sample the many delicious looking appetizers that were on offer here. However, after perusing the menu and deliberating for some time, I plumped for the braised duck with hoisin burger. We did not have to wait too long for our food, and soon I was presented with a well - ordered wooden block with my lunch on. I must say, the food here is as well presented as the tasteful decor of the place. Even though it was just a burger and fries, there was clearly effort made to do their best with every dish. The duck was moist and tasty, and the fries were great too. If this was a clue as to how great the rest of the food is here, I would love to return. Hopefully if I do get the chance to return, I will have the full three courses next time!
