Fresh fruit slushes!! A fun summer treat! Discovered this place from tiktok and I'd say it's worth the hype. $5 for a small sized (pictured) slushie that was still very large, the large size is literally a takeout container haha. Even if the line is short there's a 15ish minute wait but it means they are making them fresh!! Got the mango lychee and watermelon lychee!! Both were so so good!!!

I used to hangout in this neighborhood in high school but I don't remember this deli at all. In fact surprised at how much it's changed. My friend got the watermelon who said that is the only one he's tried and the most popular. I was craving mango so went with that. It took a while to get our drinks but worth it. For $8, you get a quart container. Mango was thick, sweet and delicious. Would definitely get again.

If you're looking for a break from the heat, shan Fu has got you. There smoothies are super refreshing. The prices have gone up since last year but it's still a pretty decent deal. it's 4.50 for a small and 8 dollars for large right now. The cup sized are very generous. A small is like a large at other places. They also don't make their smoothies with any milk which is quite interesting. It's sort of like a really healthy slurpee.

3.50 for a small, $6 for large. Watermelon smoothie is probably their most popular one and it tastes so freshing on a hot summer day. Honeydew is sweet and savory and will quench your thirst. You can ask them to mix and match the fruits for your own custom smoothie.

I've been coming here for close to a decade and I'm so glad these guys are still here despite the evolving neighborhood. They've a lovely assortment of things but the showstopper is their quart sized fruit smoothies and gorgeous cat.

I come here every year for the 9 man NYC mini tournament. I love the watermelon slushies here! They use fresh watermelon to make the slushie and it's only $5 for a whole pint. So fresh and naturally sweet. There are many other types of smoothies or slushies they offer, but I love the watermelon one the best. Great place for a quick grab and go. This little grocery/convenient store is cash only or a $10 credit card minimum. This is a wonderful family owned business that I love to support.

Very close to the East Broadway F train station. Lots of food stocked outside, some prices are a little steep.. $1/apple. They have some exotic foods like Korean pears, but you'll pay the price for them. I got a banana for $0.50 and a pack of organic, ginger chews for $3.50. The inside store is much smaller. The store doesn't display the name anywhere, just advertises what it sells on the awning (fruit, vegetables, milk, etc.) in English and Chinese (not sure if it is Mandarin or Cantonese). They have a variety of fresh juices that i'd be curious to try in the future. TIP: Pay with cash. Credit card minimum is $10.

Packaged goods are on the basement floor. Meats are to the left, produce is at the front, and drinks and sauces are to the back. Prices are quite reasonable although I've noticed that most American products are slightly more expensive. They do offer grabber tools to help you reach higher shelved products, which is nice. I'd definitely recommend HK Supermarket due to its excellent inventory. Just remember to come before it closes since it usually shuts down around 7-8pm.

The prices, which once were the big lure, are also longer quite as good as they were. As some here have noted, they engaged in outright price-gouging during the COVID pandemic, which I found to be obnoxious. But then the quality of the vegetables steadily declined. Perhaps it was a bad supplier or whatever. And they weren't as cheap as they used to be. The service, while never good, has turned rude, and worse at the fish counter. My old fish store on Grand closed so I started going here for fish. At first I didn't mind when "locals" were waited on ahead of me, but frankly it became irritating after a time. I'm not sure it's legal, to be honest. And the prices of fish are not as good, a buck more expensive per pound, than other fish merchants. The rat i saw on my last visit clinched it for me. Goodbye, Hong Kong Supermarket.
