While checking out the plants, I enjoy watching and listening to their chickens. The tented area has gifts and gardening supplies and the shed has local goods. Just outside the tent from the check-out is the fresh produce area. Then as you keep walking you'll pass the rows of potted plants. I've been here several times, most recently for flowers and fresh bread. Prices vary but are about mid-range. It's a good place for local produce and gifts.

The shop is wonderful, lots of ceramics hand-made by the owner, showcasing the woodwork of another local artist, love the multi-colored fresh eggs for sale, don't need to color them for Easter this year! They even directed us to other local gems, so we made an afternoon of visiting the area. We have tried the pork tomahawks, the mild sausage, ground beef & habanero mango links - all were amazing! The tomahawks were tasty and required little seasoning. We made burgers for our son who was in town to watch the game and he was blown away! I was worried that the beef wouldn't have the fat content to hold the patties together, but was very pleased to see they cooked up beautifully. Finished the links last night and found the habanero mango to be delicately spicy, balanced the sweetness well. Huge thank you to Fuster Cluck -- We are looking forward to the next visit!

I found that an elderberry vendor was here (and said they were each week) along with a micro greens farmer made this very helpful and a realistic alternative to the raleigh farmers market for those of us on this side of the triangle. I really recommend this as an addition to the normal shopping as it seems to be a reliable place to get food for the house.

I live in Garner (25 minutes north) and I still make the drive. I like that the fruits and vegetables offered come directly off the family farmlands, in close proximity to the business. Indeed, the road which runs horizontally in front of the business is called Holland Road. Not a crazy-extensive range of selection, but what is offered is, of course, in-season and of very good quality. I remember the day I bought tomatoes and made these photographs... I drove straight home and proceeded to O.D. on tomato sandwiches - a thick layer of mayonnaise and healthy shake of coarse pepper on each one of them. Nirvana.
