kids on a little trail ride

My daughter was five years old when she started taking riding lessons. A few months after she began formal lessons, she hit "burn out". She still expressed an interest in horses and riding so I searched out other places. Then I found Shamrock T Ranch! Cindy's (the owner) approach made my daughter completely comfortable right away and has kept and encouraged her interest and growth for well over a year now. Myself, I enjoy an occasional lesson, but really enjoy trail riding. All the horses at Shamrock T are wonderful and willing and all the people I've met have been so nice! There are tons of trails and views galore, and monthly group activities you can participate in if you want. If you want lessons, or just a trail ride from time to time, definitely go check out Shamrock T - you'll be so happy you did.

Once Cindy assesses your riding ability, you can take horses out on the trail alone, or in groups, whichever you prefer.

I am the father of a quinceañera that was recently celebrated at Bloomberg Ranch. I have been meaning to write this review because I believe future customers should know what to expect, particularly when dealing with the owner, Elena. During the booking process, Elena came across as sweet, caring, informative, and down-to-earth. However, once we signed the contract and informed her that we planned to use our own trusted vendors--professionals we have worked with successfully for multiple family events--the experience began to change. Some of the issues we encountered included: 1. Our vendors were treated as if they were her subordinates rather than independent professionals hired by us. 2. The seating layout was set up incorrectly despite reviewing and confirming the arrangement with her beforehand. 3. Her interactions with our guests were often rude, loud, and unprofessional. She made it very clear that she was the owner of the property and expected everyone to know it. 4. While her staff was serving guests, I requested that ice water be provided. The response I received was, "You didn't pay for it, haha," followed by, "No, we're not going to do it." 5. Elena's camera crew and photographer frequently overshadowed and interfered with our own photography team. The most disappointing part is that the venue itself is beautiful. The ranch is stunning and creates a wonderful atmosphere for special events. Unfortunately, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the owner's behavior. One incident that particularly stood out involved a guest who brought a bottle of whiskey, unaware of the venue's policies. Before even greeting us, Elena approached the table, took the bottle directly from the guest's wife's hands, and began scolding them as if they were children. This couple are successful professionals in their late 40s and deserved to be treated with courtesy and respect. Thankfully, my daughter was unaware of most of what transpired and was able to enjoy her special day. However, many of our guests commented afterward on how rude and unprofessional Elena was throughout the event. If you choose to book this venue, understand that you are hosting your event in someone's home and will be subject to the owner's rules and management style. The property itself is beautiful, but our experience with its management left us extremely disappointed. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision before booking

All the children enjoyed riding the horses and playing the games, but my biggest surprise was how much they enjoyed panning for "gold". My party was 3 hours long and the children were occupied and enjoying themselves the entire time. Not only did the kids have a good time, all the adults commented on what a relaxing atmosphere the ranch was. We are now planning an "adult only day".

The staff were all extremely friendly and made every invited guest feel welcomed, even the shy ones. The organization was great, and allowed us to focus on our guests as they were busy running the show for the little ones. The horse riding was a blast, and the small sided games on the side were a hit, especially the panning for gold. Every adult there loved the place and what they had to offer. There was plenty of shaded areas if you are worried about it being a bit warm. Would definitely recommend! Thank you to everyone at the Copper Horse Riding Ranch, we and our guests had a great birthday party experience!

I had no idea what to expect when I walked onto the ranch, and I ended up experiencing such an incredible day. 2020 has been a hard year for everyone, and this workshop was exactly what I needed to reground and get back in touch with myself and the world. I felt rejuvenated and refreshed afterwards, and highly recommend signing up for a workshop. We were a group of 3 women with our leader Andi, Horse Safety Manager Lisa, and photographer Jasmine. Master Chef Ed provided morning coffee (strong the way I like it!) and a delicious lunch on an open veranda. We had a full day of visualization and creative exercises lead by Andi. Not having done many workshops in the past, I felt very comfortable and supported by Andi (and everyone else), and I got a lot out of each activity. These exercises were interspersed with on the ground interactions with the Indigo Equine herd (currently numbering at 7 horses, 1 steer and growing). It was incredible meeting all of the herd and interacting with them. They are a motley crew to be sure, and have a lot share with their human interlopers! The day was very full, but we never felt rushed, and it was very relaxing. The ranch is just gorgeous and secluded, but only a 40 minute drive for me from mid-city Los Angeles. It was a great escape, and I left the workshop with useful tools to lean into for my day to day life (not to mention the beautiful journal, water bottle, hand sanitizer and mask that Andi provided at the beginning of the workshop!). All the activities were outside and felt very Covid safe. Everyone was wearing masks and respectful of social distancing (except for the horses!). I highly recommend booking a workshop at Indigo Equine if you are feeling a little ragged from the stresses of today's living. Take a day to let Andi and her team take care of you - you won't regret it!

This is a very experiential and hands-on approach to learning, but there is a strong Spiritual component to this work, as well, and it is why I wanted to combine these two complementary practices into one, more comprehensive experience.
