Allison always provides the best service! She is the only one I'll let cut my hair. I recommend her to everybody.

I was very satisfied with the Haircut Maddie provided. She was very personable and professional. Within 24 hours, three different people complemented me on my new haircut. So, if you're looking for a barber, call Maddie at Shamrock Jim read more

Today was my first visit to Shamrock Barber shop in Dublin Ohio. What a nice surprise. Paul Briani, my barber today, gave me a terrific cut. I will definitely go back. As senior citizen who still has good hair I really enjoyed the feel of the place compared to Penzones or other fruity type shops I have gone to. There were no snotty weird looking women there with nose rings or tattoos who have no Idea how to give a conventional mans haircut. What a great find. read more

Excellent barbershop with a great team of barbers. I was greeted by Allison and Henry cut my hair. I get a military flat top and Henry did an excellent job. Highly recommend getting a haircut here. read more

Maddie did a great job. Fun conversation. I will definitely make this a stop on each trip to Dublin!

Drove from a neighboring town (25 minutes away) and ended up being 8 minutes late to my son's appointment. The door was already locked and when they let us in, the woman wouldn't serve us. She just said they close in 20 minutes and we could reschedule for next week. She did not care that we just drove that far and probably could have still cut my sons hair before 6:00. I got the feeling she was already looking forward to whatever plans she had and didn't want to lose a couple of minutes at most of it. read more

Good family feel when coming into this Barber shop. If you want a good quality haircut, this would be the place to come

I've been to a lot of hair cut places in my day but Shamrock is one of the best. The shop is really cool how it's decorated. They have plenty of Buckeye stuff up. I'm a Christmas loving sort and I appreciate they took the time to decorate the shop. I was looking for a place to get my hair cut as it was beyond way too long. I found Shamrock on Yelp! and was pretty impressed with the reviews. I headed on over one day after work at 5:30pm. Shamrocks closed this night at 6pm. I figured plenty of time to get there right? I forgot how ridiculous Tuttle Crossing is traffic wise. I arrived at the shop at 5:47pm and did not have an appointment. The guy was friendly but did have to ask his one barber who was not working on someone if he'd take me as a customer as it was so close to closing. Thankfully Gabriel was more than up for it and I got into my chair. He asked me how I wanted it cut and I explained I just wanted the shaggy mane trimmed down a good bit. When I told him how much I wanted cut off he asked me several times to confirm as he said it was a good bit. I give him credit that he did seem very concerned that he understood what I wanted. Most places they just ask once and that's it. Gabriel seemed to desire to make sure I got the haircut that I wanted. While getting my haircut I spoke a good bit with Gabriel about just about everything under the sun. He was a very good conversationalist and before I knew it he was finishing up. I was finally FREE of all that damned hair! Gabriel commented that he hadn't cut that much hair off anyone's head since he cut a homeless guys hair. I know some folks may have been offended by it but I thought it was hilarious and have told just about everyone about that comment. I asked if they took credit cards and he said they didn't. I had vaguely remembered reading in the reviews that they didn't so earlier in the day I had hit up the ATM just in case. My haircut was $16 and I felt bad I only had a $20 bill. If I had more money I would have tipped him more. Gabriel assured me that it was pretty standard for people to just do the $20 for the $16 cut. As I left I noticed I was the last one left and the main guy at the register and Gabriel had been kept there by me until 6:45! Now that's a good bit of time to work over so once again I thanked the guys and told them how much I appreciated it and that'd I'd give them a great rating on Yelp! Next time I will make an appointment or leave work a bit earlier than 5:30pm to get my hair trimmed. I love this place and everyone should give them a try. It's the best barber shop in Columbus in my book. I plan to become a regular. Ask for Gabriel, he knows how to do a trim proper. P.S. They do the neck shave with a straight razor at the end like all proper barber shops should do. I love that!! read more

Great local barber shop! DeWayne, Tony and Bob are true professionals. I've been making appointments to have DeWayne cut my hair for the last 24 years but all the guys are great and they take walk-ins too. Great service for a reasonable cost. Can't go wrong with this place!!!!! read more

Shamrock Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Dublin, Ohio

I have been going to Dwayne for 15 years and have been happy with every cut. My wife loves the look. Best of all, he is understanding if I have to make a change in appointments, and he made room for me when my dad died and I needed a trim. read more

I'm new to the Dublin area, and following a disappointing haircut at another shop, I called in for an appointment here. Paul Briani fixed me up and we laughed off the disastrous hair I walked in with. I couldn't be more satisfied with my hair. Professional barbers in a clean shop with COVID-19 precautions. Will be back for sure. read more

As a kid, my mother always took me to a salon to get my hair cut. When I turned 11 yrs old, I bought a pair of clippers and cut my own hair till I was 24, at which point, my wife convinced me to go get someone to cut it for me...I've been around the block...from Kenneth's to Mandarin to Sport Cuts and Charles Penzone. Kenneth's & Penzone did a fine job, but after being convinced at 32 yrs of age by my future brother-in-law to check out a barber shop (since I'd never been to one in my entire life), I'm completely hooked! Dewayne & Tony were hilarious...I've NEVER had someone take such meticulous care of my precious hair. It was the best experience I've ever had - old school, great guys, perfect haircut, and a great fee to boot. I'll be going to see them for the next 25-30 yrs or so! read more

Trying to get a haircut on a Tuesday at 6:00p is dicey - and when you're on business out of town and looking for a cut your really never know what you're going to get. Shamrock Barber Shop was a great surprise. Not only was the price very reasonable, the gentlemen at Shamrock were very accommodating (they stayed until 7 for my cut) and I got one of the best haircuts I've had in years. 5 stars! read more

In a world of stores that try cater to all who walk in the door, the traditional barber shop is one of the few retail businesses left that caters to men specifically. I have been getting my haircut from Shamrock Barber Shop for at least 3 years. The barbers are highly experienced, and they give you a professional cut at a reasonable price. The conversation is always lively, which makes the time go by very quickly. They are also extremely well-connected to the Columbus business community. read more

Bob has been cutting my hair at Shamrock Barber Shop since 1992. In the past 25 years, I have had my hair cut by others only twice--once while Bob was ill and the other when I was out of town for a prolonged period of time. Also, my sons had their hair cut at Shamrock from the time they were old enough to need a cut until they left for college. All of the barbers at Shamrock are pleasant, professional and fine people. You simply won't find a better barber shop in Dulbin. read more

This was my first time ever coming to a barber shop (after many, many years of going to places like Great Clips, Sports Cut, etc.), and boy am I glad I tried something new! My hair was an absolute mess from previous haircuts; my sides were uneven and the back of my head was crazy, but Michael did a fantastic job even-ing out everything, and I could not be happier. The minute I walked in, I could tell that these guys were well-trained and serious about their jobs. I would definitely recommend calling ahead and scheduling an appointment, and if you're looking for a good barber, ask for Michael. I've never had anybody take such good care of my hair and pay so much detail to every little bit -- which is an absolute fantastic thing because you know they care about making your hair the best it can be. I am Asian, so my hair can be a challenge for many people to cut, but Michael did an incredible job. All the guys are a joy to talk to; they are all funny and joyous. For my first time ever, I'm very happy with my haircut and the service. I have no idea why another customer rated Shamrock Barber Shop 1-star -- I guess they were just impatient and sensitive, but don't be fooled by that guy :). I would recommend Shamrock Barber Shop to anyone looking for a new style, looking for a sharp haircut, or looking to get their hair fixed from previous bad-haircuts (like me). They do a fantastic job, and I would come back in a heart-beat. read more

I've been going to the Shamrock Barbershop for close to 20 years. With DeWayne, you are guaranteed a perfect haircut every time. There's no rush and he is very particular and precise with his work. I've also had others cut my hair there if I have to switch my appointment at the last minute and DeWayne is booked, and I have never been disappointed - no matter who cut my hair. I highly recommend this great barbershop! read more

Two Words: MICHAEL TRACY. I have been going to Shamrock for over a year. I have lived in Dublin for 3 years and I found it very difficult to find a reliable barber that not only did a great job cutting my hair, but was also a person I could tolerate for a half-hour every month. Michael Tracy at Shamrock Barbershop has met all of my needs. He consistently gives me the best haircut I've ever had. He schedules in advance and also accepts walk-ins. This really helps me as I am typically very busy. I rarely have time to sit around and wait in line for a haircut. Michael alleviates that by taking appointments. Skill aside, Michael is a really friendly guy and very easy to talk to. I always enjoy my time in the chair and look forward to my next visit. Give them a call and ask for Michael. You won't regret it. read more

DeWayne has been my barber for more than ten years. I can't imagine using another barber shop. Every visit is relaxing, a chance for some good jokes, and, best of all, a good haircut at a very reasonable price. read more

I recently moved to the Dublin area. I saw that Shamrock had great reviews, so I stopped by this afternoon. I got a great haircut courtesy of Henry--he's a great barber. I would highly recommend Shamrock to anyone looking for a quality haircut. read more

I had high hopes for this barber shop after reading the earlier reviews. I want to find a reliable, friendly, old-fashioned barber shop and thought this would be it. I called last Friday afternoon to find out what time they closed and was told that their last appointment was 5:30 p.m. I asked if I could make an appointment for that time and was told yes. I left work a few minutes early to ensure that I could be there in time, knowing how bad the traffic is around there. I showed up at 5:22 and walked in the front door. Nobody greeted me and I was left to find a place to hang up my coat on my own. The shop is separated into 2 sections by a wall and I saw no place to sit to the left. I walked to the right and saw a couple of empty chairs. The 2 barbers glared at me like I had the plague. One of them rudely demanded to know if I was a "walk-in." I told him that I had an appointment and heard one of the barbers on the other side holler over to confirm it. The first barber gruffly told me that I could sit there, even though my appointment was on the other side of the shop. I didn't know I had intruded into some special location that required an invitation! I was offended, but let it slide. I took a seat and quietly began checking e-mail messages on my phone. From that point on, despite my attempts to make eye contact, I was completely ignored. 5:30 came and went, with no sign that I would be getting my haircut anytime soon. By 5:45, I was getting irritated but they still ignored me. Finally, after waiting over 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I just got up to leave. Even then, nobody acknowledged me. I can't comment on the quality of their haircuts, but I can honestly say that their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I will not be going back. if that is how they treat new customers, I'm surprised they are still in business. read more
