This is the most unprofessional business. Do not take your fur-baby to this establishment- for ANY service. The groomer and owner, both, lack courtesy and compassion. They are rude to customers and lack common knowledge of appropriate behavior towards animals. I took my 4 month old rescue puppy, roxie, to shampooch and kitty today. She was afraid and shaking. When I came to pick her up she was bathed, Matt's carefully removed and happy as could be. Dave and his crew provide excellent work on pups. Roxie gave dave several goodbye kisses. Prices are fair and my dog was given top notch service. Would highly recommend. Horrible groomer! My dog was chained to the wall for 5 hours with a 1.5 foot chain... no water either. His cut was the worst I've seen, for a simple labradoodle. Owner claimed he'd done tons of them before. Hair cut is uneven all over, and choppy. Dog was in catatonic state when I picked him up! He just had them cut the weak prior! but anyways ... We brought the dog back to Shampooch to put quick stop on it. We were met with major attitude from the owner immediately. He attempted to remove the bandage on our dogs paw in order to examine the injury but was having difficulty removing it . My mother saw this and suggested to start from the top of the bandage. Instead of taking the suggestion, he looked at my mother and yanked on the dog's paw. Even harder as to say "f@ck you" After he "examined" his nails, and continued to deny any significant bleeding, his assistant acknowledged the bleeding, and the owner gave her the look of death! Open as early as 6:30 am so you are able to drop off your dog before work. Its not a luxurios entrance but who said it needs to be.... all that matters is service and how clean my doggie is afterwards. Grooming is always on point and leave satisfied everytime. The only good thing I can say about this place is the prices were decent. The waiting room was dirty, my dogs were yelled at but the girl claimed she was yelling at the shop dogs. The owner tried arguing with me over the breed and medical issues over my dogs. He's not a vet and has no right to argue over a dog's medical issues. It took them 5 hours to groom my dogs. I called after a few hours and the guy had no idea who my dogs were. Neither dog was taken outside to go potty during these 5 hours. When I was called to pick up my dogs, I was informed they were only open for 30 more minutes. Thank goodness I live close. One of my dogs nails have cracked and splintered from how poorly they were cut. I will NEVER take my dogs back there! Very unprofessional. read more
