My dog is not so happy hanging out with other dogs so now Lisa and Mark come to our house 3 x a day when we are traveling to feed and walk our dog. They are friendly, reliable And I trust them with my dog and my house! Highly recommend The Dog Wagging business.

My overly aggressive & dominant dog with "too much testosterone" in his current daycare. He's the one on the bottom. Lmao.

Uoogle reviews 5 4 3 2 1 4.9 14 r In response to Lisa Harvey...my dog passed your initial evaluation with flying colors in case you forgot. Which is why I brought him back the second day. Also...in case you've never been to a dog park ...dogs humping each other upon the introduction of a new dog on the scene is a natural domination establishing behavior. A SEVEN MINUTE evaluation deducing that MY dog has "too much testosterone" is ridiculous. Clearly you missed ALL of the other dogs humping HIM. Yet that was his fault? Had you given the situation more than SEVEN minutes everyone would've gone about their business. If you had any dog training experience or ability you would know this and would know how to respond accordingly. Rough house playing is not aggression nor is humping. So sorry you have no patience and that he might have required you to take two seconds to redirect the dogs in your care. You had a negative attitude from the second we walked through the door. Dogs pick up on this...in case you weren't aware. And to isolate a dog in "time out" with a whole room of dogs in the next room is a rookie move at best. I would hate to see how you would handle child daycare...kicking children out for misbehaving after one day in New surroundings. Time out for dogs...pshaw...like he's going to sit there and ponder what be did wrong? My dog goes to the dog park EVERY weekend and has NEVER had a problem. He's also been in another care situation with a fully intact make husky for the past month and a half without incident. Please see photo in photo section for a horrifying picture of my attack dog. You are an alarmist at best. And then of course there was YOUR snippy "just get out" comment when I stated that I would need to find a different facility. My last comment to you will be a repeat of my last comment to you yesterday.

My puppy's new girlfriend! Haha he was so tired from playing so much the day after!

Usually I train the puppies before I bring them out to her. This time I didn't. I wanted her to have him asap to help w the grief. My grandpa also had a dog, that never left his side and was with him the night he passed. After his passing we brought her to the funeral so she understood he wasn't coming home. After several tries of nudging him in the casket, kissing him and booping her nose to his nose to try to wake him up she realized he wasn't this time. After the funeral her behavior changed and she started marking everywhere in the house. Not knowing she was marking and bringing a puppy into the mix, made the situation alot more chaotic. My grandmas also in a wheelchair and depends on others for help. Which made things harder for her to train her puppy. After numerous phone calls, either being told it was nearly impossible to do what I needed help with or it's was gonna cost as much as giving them my first born, I nearly gave up. UNTIL.... Richard came to my rescue! When I talk to Richard for the first time, I got a sense of peace and a chance for hope. Instead of him telling me that this situation was an obstacle beyond imagination, or not possible, he took the challenge. He warned me it might take time, given the circumstances that I was pretty much putting him in and limiting what he could and couldn't do. But, he was willing to try and not charge me my first born. After the first session, we saw results that didn't seem reachable in the beginning. We've been able to break my grandpas dog from marking all over the house and the puppy's on his way to being pee pad trained. We still have more work to do but the progress so far gives the positive reassurance to keep going and not quitting. I highly recommend Richard to anyone and everyone! He's truly one of a kind

After speaking with several training programs, visiting some, and prayerfully considering what the right choice should be Madi Potts helped make our choice easy. Before we would trust anyone with our little 7.5 lb boy, we had to get a sense of one's heart. My husband and I were not looking for someone who could simply "control dogs" or "make them obey commands". We wanted someone who had a heart for dogs to have better lives with structure, less fear, and longevity due to possibilities that came with what training offered. My first inquiry call with Madi was pretty long, if I recall right. She was patient, understanding of my many questions, and willing to talk as long as I needed to feel she was safe to go to next step with. We started with a 90 min at home training session to see first hand and understand how she would personally be as a trainer with Beans. That training was stressful and also a relief as we believed we found the right person to entrust our boy to. When the day came for him to be picked up, both my husband and I were crying. It wasn't just about trusting a new person to take care of Beans, it was also the resurfaced grief of losing our whippet girl of 11 years just a few months prior. The "what ifs" where overwhelming, but we agreed we were moving forward. Madi also saw our "anguish" if you want to call it that. She quickly said she typically doesn't give an update for the first 24-48 hours but she would update us that evening. To her word, we got a picture of beans at the park and our hearts settled a bit. Throughout the two weeks, Madi was wonderful about keeping us up to date and answering questions as needed or as we annoyed her (lol we might have been a little over the top haha) She never hesitated to share and ensure our boy was learning, and struggling in some areas, but overall doing great. Now that he is back with us, we have already had one of our follow up appointments and are so thankful Madi was who helped us with Beans. He was so happy to see her and made her say goodbye before leaving (even though he was supposed to "stay", lol). Training is still a ongoing work daily, Beans still doesn't love his crate but is accepting he is safe and it's ok to not see us 24/7 (Italian greyhounds are Velcro dogs to the max!) This was an emotional, time, and financial investment that we continue to place priority on. I know many will say do not board and train an Iggy, but for our family, giving him and us the tools to have a successful life together was important. We did our due diligence and don't regret our decision. Actually we are extremely grateful we found Madi and Suburban K9. When she left after our last follow up session she looked at Beans, gave him a scratch and said "I love you". I have no doubt she does, for that I am thankful. It is my hope everyone will find someone as knowledgeable and kind hearted toward an animals as Madi is. Thank you Suburban K9 for helping us learn puppy manners with Madi. We are forever grateful. When we returned to our normal work schedules we would leave her home for 6-7 hours a day. She seemed to be great in her crate or in the kitchen during the day but after a few days she started to wreak havoc in the house. Breaking out of her crate, two couches, tons of poop, and chewed window sills later, we reached out to Kendra and Scott for help. She had separation anxiety and needed to be taught how to be confident in herself again. Our pup went to the two week board and train program and came out a brand new girl. She was confident. She was calm. She was no longer anxious. We can now walk her without a leash if we needed to. She comes when called. Most importantly she doesn't break out of her crate, and finds it as a safe place now. Her training saved her and saved us. Our girl loves being able to visit Kendra every now and then and we have the confidence of boarding her with someone we trust. Someone who plays with our pup. She's not just locked in a crate all day. We are forever grateful for Kendra and Scott. Every single time someone asks how we got our girl to listen to us, or comments on how well behaved she is, we always tell them about Canine Peace of Mind. We highly recommend the training and all services available after training is completed. The training is best thing we could have done for our girl Lola and our family.

We were dealing with food & high value treat /toy aggression, leash & barrier aggressions, and their coming on call (especially when chasing rabbits were more fun situations than coming to mom & dad) was unreliable at best. Enter Kendra at Canine Peace of Mind. Kendra worked with us on the best board & train program for each of them, customizing their 'stay' schedules based on progress and behavioral shifts. We sent both our dogs to CPM from Sept 2018 - Oct 2018. Kendra knows how tough it is to leave your 'kids' for that extended period of time (because she's done it too!) and made sure to send us picture and video updates on how each of them were progressing. Seeing the quick process made the distance so worth it. Fast forward to picking our pups up on handover day and the difference was remarkable. But it was on us to take those skills & discipline home with us. A couple months into having them home (Jan of this year), we recognized we still needed help (user error!) and Kendra did a house call, free of charge, to help us in reigning in & tightening up their training & our/their behaviors. What an immense help as we saw immediate change and are continuing to build that owner/dog trust together. Here's the from / to for our pups and our family: - From never being able to walk in public on a leash for fear of lashing out against another dog (even when across the street) to walking twice a day at heeling position for 2-3 miles a day, despite what we encounter. - From not having reliable recalls in the least, to trusting our dogs (and because we have grown into much more confident dog owners, trusting ourselves) to have them off leash. We love to go get the mail, take out the trash, etc. together with our dogs. - From breakfast & dinner times being HORRIBLE experiences due to fighting, low growling, & crate checking to having peaceful feeding times. - From having no control during high energy times to having a tool & command for them to go to a dedicated 'place' in any room to calm down and give each other (and us) space. I could go on. But what I would say is if you are encountering any of the above issues, please consider Canine Peace of Mind and their board & train programs. As working professionals that knew we didn't have the time or expertise to dedicate in order to get our pups where they needed to be, we are so happy we did. It has transformed the time we get to all spend together from dread to time that we look forward to because it's happy & enjoyable (which is why we all got these guys in the first place, am I right?). They also offer day care & boarding. We have taken them up on boarding a few times as we know that they get a bit more attention than any standard boarding and they are held accountable to their training just as much there as they are at home.
