This consisted of poppadoms with a pickle tray (great stuff, had my fave lime pickle amongst 7 others!), followed by a selection of starters, then you can take your pick from the 9 different curries on offer in the buffet. My fiance was vegetarian and we were asked if either of us was so before ordering, which was nice since she then got served a vegetarian starter selection which was equally tasty. The main buffet itself was very good, a nice selection of curries ranging from mild butter chicken up to a nicely hot (for a chilli head like me) meat dish. They were all delicious; I would have enjoyed them ordered singly and wouldn't have known they were from a buffet. I can highly recommend this place, I'm sad I only got to visit once since their non-buffet dishes looked very exciting, so well worth a visit if you've got a curry craving after a day in the Dales...

I realize this restaurant is part of a chain, but I don't think this branch is putting in the effort the highly rated other branches are. The decor of the restaurant is quite sparse first off. The food was quite mediocre-average, but at least they had Kingfisher on tap! I didn't see many unique "contemporary" dishes on the menu. Unfortunately not my first choice for a curry in Harrogate.

They also do a mean balti. Good selection of beers on draft and bottled. Price is at the higher end that I'd be willing to pay but the quality of the food makes it worth it. This has happened multiple times over the last few months and finally we decided to complain. The employees are rude and instead of taking responsibility they tried to turn it round on us saying the food was fine! We ordered our food at 7:35pm and didn't get a replacement sent out till 10pm. We asked for a refund and they flat out refused to give us one. Our Friday night ruined!! Avoid at all costs!!
