nan breads,...........? nan breads served in a steel a tree? a foot long no less! (only plain nans served this way, as filling will fall out of the stuffed ones!)
if you like fresh green chillies,
this is the place for you! we had a thali, honey chicken, takka dahl, a paneer dish (spinach and cheese) mushroom rice, i asked if they did an aubergine side dish as there was non on the menu an the waiter said he'd ask the chef, if they had some in!
an they did, so they made me one up!
(all the waiters seemed really happy, and were genuinly chatty)
though i mentioned fresh chillies, not all the food is burn your mouth out hot, the heat builds, but never to a point when i think, *gasp water! all the spice flavours are there, no one flavour over powers an other! this chef really knows his food! or will only cook what he likes to eat!
the service was excellent, restaurant very clean, but beware the floor if wearing slick bottomed shoes or high heels as its highly polished wood!
the ladies toilets clean, but the cubicals were a little on the snug side, wide, but not that deep, so you had to step aside to shut the door,
good hand washing facilities and superb toilet roll!
(i'm not fixated with toilets!)
price wise a little on the expensive side, but with saying that, you have to consider the surroundings, the service, quality of food and its location in town! read more
