I love Shakey's! I've been coming here since I was a boy, so there's definitely a little nostalgia every time I walk through the doors. What I really come for though is the Bunch of Lunch! You get such a great variety of pizzas to try, and the quality is always on point. The toppings and the cheese that they use are always fresh and some of the best in the game ! Load up your plate with pizza, hit the salad bar, grab some of those famous Mojo Potatoes, fried chicken, and all the other delicious sides. I'll always say make sure you come very hungry because there's plenty to choose from! I also have to give a special shout-out to Khoa for the great service. Always attentive, always keeping everything clean and organized, and always helping make the experience here A1. His Great service really does make a difference! If you're looking for some good- quality California style pizza, a great all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, or just somewhere to bring the family and enjoy an old family fun pizza experience, then definitely give Shakey's in the city Anaheim a visit. I've been coming since I was a kid, and I'm still coming back! read more

Great service during the lunch buffet. Variety of pizzas consistently coming out along with fried and baked chicken, mojos, mac and cheese, rice, veggies, pizza twists, mashed potatoes and gravy, spaghetti and marinara, corn, and even ribs now! Salad bar is also open during buffet. Pepperoni pizza is just my favorite thing. Grab ranch from the salad bar. Plates were regularly cleared from the table by a friendly lady. read more

The lunch buffet was great and the food was just how I remembered it. There was a nicely stocked salad bar, a great variety of pizzas, the legendary mojo potatoes, and a lot of extra things like enchiladas and pasta. The fried chicken was excellent. In addition to regular fountain drinks, they had horchata and jamaica. Service was friendly and plates were cleared promptly. My only complaint, the music was sooooo loud. read more

Just came here for the all you can eat lunch buffet. It was 3 adults, and 4 children. I've came here with my kids before but my cousins and nieces haven't been here. We came in around 11:30am and it was already busy. There was a line at the register but moved quickly enough. When it was our turn, I told the cashier we'd like the buffet for 3 adults and 3 children. I was in line with 1 cousin and 2 children while the others went to find tables. The cashier was kind enough to ask if my one year old was included in the 3 children because I don't need to pay for her. I appreciated her mindfulness. We got our plates and got to the table then started our lunch. The pizzas were coming nonstop. So hot and fresh. The thin crust was so crispy. I only saw 1 thicker crust pizza come out in the hour and a half we were there and that was good too. I appreciated the roasted chicken option. It was really good. My niece really loved the garlic bread and cinnamon bread bites. There's also a small arcade in the back that draw a lot of attention from the children. Big screen TVs throughout the whole restaurant has sports games playing. The food isn't the biggest or best caliber but unlimited pizza and chicken for $15 for adults and $9 for children 10 and under us a big win for me. All 7 of us left full and happy. I'll definitely be back again. read more

This was a staple in the Philippines when I lived there in the late 1970s to the mid 1980s. I have to say that the ambience is pretty typical of pizza pubs. The service was fine. The pizza and mojos were not bad, but the fried chicken took me by surprise. It was much better than an expected and the best tasting dish on the menu. I was disappointed that they don't have garlic as an ingredient choice (mushroom and garlic pizza at Shakey's Philippines is a real go-to), but I would save my appetite for the chicken anyway. read more

OMG I am visiting the area and a friend recommended this place ( as a kid I went to shakey's it ok but closed in my ate 80s ) so my expectations were not high This place blew my expectations out of the water for a budget friendly anf family restaurant this exceeded all my expectations.. the manager (a young Hispanic women) demonstrated care and concern for the customer experience I saw her give one to one training in customer attention and looking see their needs the place was attended to regularly with this mane kids her team Kelpy the place clean Food was great $14.99 salad bar pizza (several types to choose from ) fresh and hot as well as the chicken potatoes slices and simple spaghetti and sauce among other items at first bot a bog amount but this managers team keeps restocking to keep it all looking great All in all the service and employees and the food makes this place a great place to enjoy a budget friendly place but the expectation from the manager makes this in the same level of Morton's but better for families Thanks to the manger My vista was July 8th at 12 noon read more

Shake what your mama gave you, because it's all good times for a lunch buffet at Shakey's! For around $15 per person, you get all you can eat pizza, fried chicken, potato mojos, salad bar, and more. We came here to enjoy a family lunch, per my daughter's request, today. The buffet is from 11-2. We got here at 1, and they were still bringing out fresh food. My tip would be to wait for the fresh foods, because they bring them out frequently, and it tastes SO much better. Their just-brought-out pizza and chicken were SO good! Not that the others were bad, but you can't beat a fresh out of the oven pizza and chicken. We enjoyed our lunch here today. It was busy still at 1! But the food was plentiful and tasty. read more

To be fair this is truly is going to be a review with a slight tone of nostalgia. Grew up eating at one back in the Midwest. It hasn't changed since I was last at one as in my 20s. The buffet is the true star of this place. Who doesn't love their Mojo's? (Sliced potatoes with skins and fried). One of the better fried chickens out there. Juicey and great flavor to the skin. Pizza is pretty good. Nice sauce and a good amount of toppings. A great thin crush pizza. That has that nice crunch to the crust. You won't get that flopping, greasy east coast style from this. read more

I was visiting my sister and we had a big sister day and realized we hadn't planned dinner, and we realized that there are still Shakey's in CA so we had to go! We were hesitant because we were worried it might not be as good as we remember from growing up going to the one in Downers Grove, IL, but we were pleasantly surprised at how it brought us right back to our wonderful childhood memories! We were impressed at the freshness and perfect temperature of our food. I was excited about the PCM for One deal (only $13.99) where you get a small thin crust pizza with one topping (YUM- just like I remember it!!!), two pieces of chicken (surprisingly yummy), and the potatoes I think they call Mojos. (I don't remember these growing up.) They had comfortable booths, plenty of seating and classic signs. It was so comforting. My sister got a pan pizza which was also just as she remembered, and got a beer that was nice and cold too. We were really impressed by the sweetness and excellent service we received from Tupou P- she was truly lovely and we appreciated her! We were super happy with our visit here and I want to come back next time I come to CA again for more memories and deliciousness. read more

We don't have a Shakey's Pizza in Hawaii so whenever we're in LA I try to make it there. The place is always packed depending on the time that you arrive. We were there for dinner and after placing my order we waited awhile. I understand, there were a lot of big groups. When our pizza came I almost didn't get a picture. I was thinking about how good it was going to be. Shakey's didn't disappoint me. My pizza was spot on, crispy crust and delicious toppings!! I'll be back!! read more

Shakey's Pizza Parlor - Pizza Near Me - Anaheim, California

The Shakey's Pizza Lunch Buffet is a solid deal for the price--all-you-can-eat pizza, fried chicken, mojo potatoes, and salad make it a satisfying option if you're hungry and want variety. For what you pay, it's definitely worth it. That said, the pizza selection is pretty limited. During my visit, there were only a few kinds out at a time, and they tend to go fast. It would be great to see a wider variety of pizzas, maybe even some rotating specialty options to keep things interesting. The salad bar is basic but fresh, and the fried chicken and mojos are still classic Shakey's comfort food. Seating and space were fine, and staff were quick to clear tables and restock food--but again, expanding the buffet section a bit would take this from "good" to "great." All in all, a good value if you're craving a casual lunch and don't mind a bit of repetition in the food lineup. read more
