He returned to the office, and the crown was recemented. Unfortunately, it fell off again afterward. When he went back for a second time, the office wanted to take additional X-rays, and the office manager, Angie, informed him that there would be a charge to recement the crown if they were able to do so. My husband questioned why he should be charged when the crown had already failed twice within a very short period. It seemed reasonable to expect the office to stand behind their work. Instead, Angie stated that the crown came off because he had not been consistent with his dental checkups. I found that comment both unprofessional and inappropriate. As mentioned, we only sought treatment at this office because it was an emergency and our regular dentist was unavailable after hours. My husband routinely receives his cleanings and dental checkups throughout the year. As a Director in the customer service industry, I would never speak to a client in that manner or make assumptions about their personal habits without knowing the facts. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. The lack of accountability and the way we were treated left a very negative impression. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this office.

I tend to avoid confrontation, and I think Dr. Patrick picked up on that. The quick search led me to Dr. Nathan @ the Dentists of Rosemead. Making an appointment was painlessly done via their website and as others have stated, there is ample covered parking. The receptionist warmly welcomed me with a bright smile and confirmed my appointment w/ Dr. Nathan who came out to greet me within minutes of my arrival. Was escorted to a room where they perform quick vitals, full scan of your jaw and x-rays of your teeth. This is the first dental office that I've been to where they have an imaging machine of your jaw which was cool. Next, I was escorted to an exam room where the hygienist then proceeded to perform periodontal charting. He then explained in detail the results and would consult with Dr. Nathan the next steps to treat the early stages of periodontitis. After agreeing to a deep cleaning, Luz then came in armed with a topical anesthetic gel to prepare me for the lidocaine injections. Luz was fantastic as the injections were nearly painless (typically have some sort of burning sensation) and then proceeded to go to work with the cavitron. Happy with the results and am glad to have found Dr. Nathan and Luz. Would highly recommend them both to anyone looking for a new dentist that truly cares about their patients.
