Got my tires aligned here and was satisfied with the service. They call you promptly when your service is complete.

I was recommended to come here by the friendly guys at America's Tires on Junction and Brokaw after getting a flat tire on the boyfriend's car. What had happened was that while trying to get the flat tire off, we had accidentally sheared off the last lugnut that was screwed on super tight. So when I brought in his car to get the flat tire fixed, they recommended me to come here to get the lugnut replaced. So I went over and waited for them to open up (they were 10 minutes late. I was there at the time they said they would be open from). It was fairly easy to do once I explained what happened. The staff were very nice and the lugnut was replaced within a few hours. I hope not to have more broken lugnuts in the future but if I do, at least I know a place to come to get it replaced. read more

Got a wheel strut problem created by America's TIRE on junction avenue fixed here as they only recommend him to fix such issues, i tried to get an alignment done at the same time but not happy with the result, as america's tire recommended re-alignment again as the vehicle was still pulling on one side Would recommend small service jobs only read more

America's Tires overtorqued my lug nut and recommended Alex at Shaghasi to remove and replace. After receiving the stud in stock, I was curious how they fix it. The tech explained and showed me how they fix it and replace the stud. Alex noticed that my brake caliper bolts were not screwed in all the way and had grime built up. He cleaned and ran a tap to clean out all the dirt and build up in the threads and the bolt. I appreciate the attentiveness and the offer. read more

Sal has been our auto tech for more years than we can remember. He is more than fair and we feel the best in the area. He is honest and reasonable. Bad experience. People are nice but they don't have too much expertise on MINI Cooper. My engine light is on. I left my car there 3 days in total. Cost me over 200$ ( including renting a car). Nothing changed. They can't figure out what's going on and fix the problem. read more

Had to bring my car to Alex this past week. Major sized puddle of pink fluid in the garage could only mean one thing - TRANSMISSION. That's a word I equate with the fear of EXTREMELY expensive repairs. I am in a 'catch-22'. Can't afford to buy a new car and I can't afford not to have a car, so I bit the proverbial bullet and took the car into Alex's shop for repair, all the while thinking of what my family could sacrifice in order to pay for the repairs. Alex found the leak and to my surprise, Alex said the gasket leak was under warranty from the transmission service he did on my car a couple of months back. We were referred here by America's Tires for an alignment. The owner of the shop is Alex. We had to make an appointment and it only took approx 45 mins. Great fast reasonable service. They have a waiting area that has comfortable couches to sit on. Great air condition in waiting area. I would recommend this place for alignments. Reasonable price. read more

I've used Shaghasi Auto Tech to replace the upper control arm bushings, a/c belt, and new hose clamps for my BMW 528i. They also have done the wheel alignments on both my BMW and Toyota Sequoia. I am extremely happy with the quality and price of the work performed. The owner took the time to explain the problem and how he is going to fix it. He will also show you all the old parts replaced. I was referred here by America's Tire just like the other reviewers to get an alignment. I called to make an appointment because they said they were busy. When I arrive for my appointment I see the place dead empty and a sign that says will return in 15 minutes. A guy named Alex gets there an half an hour later and then takes a look at my car. I tell him I want an alignment and he brings my car up then calls me over and says that other things need to be replaced and calculates the cost to be $700 for everything. I'm confused. I ask him what they are. He says "people call them many things but I call them strut rods." He says if I don't get them replaced my brand new tires that I just bought from America's Tire are going to get ruined within 2 months. Then he went about how expensive my tires were. I told him I'll think about it and left. I asked around and nobody knew what "strut rods" were. They asked if I meant "tie rods." Long story short I got rear ended shortly after and mentioned this problem to the AAA certified auto shop that my car was getting fixed at and they took a look to see if there was any problems regarding this issue and they said my tie rods are tight and do not need to be replaced. I don't know if Shaghasi is just desperate for business because they seem to have no customers or just plain crooked lying mechanics. AMERICA'S TIRE NEEDS TO STOP RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE! read more

He and his team are great at quickly diagnosing the issue and getting it fixed promptly. I have taken my cars to Alex and Sal for at least 8 years now and they are by far one of the best auto shops that I have ever dealt with! They are very fair when it comes to labor/cost and describe in detail what needs to be done to the car. Whether a small job or a clutch replacement, they can and do handle it all. Further, they are very approachable and take the time to listen and answer your questions.
