It was a beautiful experience despite heart wrenching emotions. Dr. Nesbit has been an excellent Vet for Miller, and I appreciate how he never tried to rack tests and pricing up and always seemed truly focused on the well-being of my dog. Dr Nesbit has a spirit that only other dog lovers and dogs understand. Thank you for helping me through some tough times with my BFF (Best Fury Friend), I highly recommend him and Godley Station to all.

We tried one that was, but it was located downtown and just was not a fit for us in many ways. Godley Station Animal Hospital is off the beaten path and after passing it a million times and noticing dogs in the outdoor area outback I finally looked it up on the map and made an appointment for our cat who's recently taken to peeing/marking. The exam fee is an extremely reasonable price, scheduling and sending over our stack of vet records (yes, we're those people) was a breeze, and the staff was phenomenal. Scheduled an appointment for my dog to have her nails trimmed, anticipating that it would likely turn into a huge deal with other visits leading to sedation after issues with her groomers not being able to trim them and to our pleasant surprise, they trimmed them easily and beautifully! Two fantastic interactions in a week at a new vet and we didn't spend an arm and a leg, cannot recommend this place more!!

When I walked in, everyone was so kind and gentle--I felt safe right away. They gave my paws the royal treatment, trimming all that wild floof into neat little feet again. You can now book appointments online! They usually send my pups home with an accessory. This time, my little guy got a bow tie and my lab got a Thanksgiving bandana and stars on her head! My heart melted to see them dressed up. We always pick up fun bakery treats on the way out. I just wish there was 15 minute pick up and drop off parking available. It's street parking only, which can be difficult to find.

My friend shared their website with me to book my first appointment, but I didn't see any dates that worked for me, so I decided to reach out later. To my surprise, the salon texted me the very next day asking if I had any questions since I'd registered my pup but hadn't scheduled yet. Now that's great customer service! They were able to fit me in with a new groomer the following weekend, which was awesome. On the day of the appointment, the salon is located in a small strip mall just off DeRenne Ave. There's plenty of parking for easy drop-offs and pick-ups. The lobby is small but clean honestly, it doesn't need to be fancy; it's a dog grooming spot, after all! What I really loved was the grooming area. It's set up kind of like a mini doggie daycare no cages! The dogs are free to play with each other, which made me feel so much better about leaving my dog there. Tobi was initially hesitant, but as soon as he saw the other dogs, I basically became invisible. LOL They texted me within an hour of dropping him off, which was way quicker than I expected for a bath and cut. Plus, their prices are really reasonable. They also offer fun spa packages like fur gems, fur feathers, chalk fur painting, and even hair coloring! If you're looking to spoil your dog, they've got a birthday add-on with a birthday cake shampoo, paw cream, a photoshoot, and more. The sweetest touch was getting a "report card" text after I picked Tobi up. It included a before-and-after picture along with a note about how he did during his grooming session. Every person I've met so far, including the owners, is super friendly and genuinely loves their job and the dogs. That's so important when you're trusting someone with your furry friend. The price range varies, there is something for everyone. One of my favorite brands they carry is Fromm. There are many treats, toys, items for health, and so much more. Our dog loves the bones and certain treats. The staff are always friendly. If you have any questions they are happy to help. Also they are incredibly knowledgeable about what is on the shelves. They can give suggestions to you. If you would like to place an order that can be done as well. If you sign up with your phone number after purchasing your twelfth bag of dog food you get the next one free! Go to Bentley's and pick up some treats for your fur baby!

The manager at the time told me " all this for a cat seems like a waste." A few months later I went back in to stock back up and when I shared my excitement about my pet and his updated name - the cashier sneered and said " the old name was better." I think the final straw for me was when I inquired about where the Pooler Paws in-store adoption area had gone. I was told that they got rid of it because "nobody liked cleaning the cat boxes" and they were worried that the store would "stink". To me, that is a huge red flag that the people who work at this store don't really care about animals and they're just doing it for a job. All things considered, I usually only stop here when I'm really desperate for an item that is out of stock at the Habersham store. It's not the worst place that you could spend your money, but also, I think it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to common courtesy and the warmth that you would expect from a company working with pets.
