Can I tell you after coming here how much I am kicking myself in the tush?! This office is the most professional, exceptional wonderful place that I have ever experienced in my life !! The first thing that was a shocker was that the dentist actually does a cancer check he checked my mouth. He checked my tongue. He checked everything and that was a total shocker because I've never in my life. Had that happened before. . Today I had two cavities refilled and having asthma I have a strong smell for everything. My nose is very sensitive and all I could smell was clean. Everything was so clean. . Not an overwhelming smell, but a sanitary clean and I was so relaxed and comfortable.. I'm selfish and don't want to Share my new secret place, but I have told so many coworkers and friends about Dr Tyler . He is truly a professional. He truly has professional employees working with him and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Dentist . He allayed my concerns by informing me that he would administer sufficient numbing of the area. He did and he massaged the area as well. He frequently asked if I was alright and assured me during the process. Surprisingly, I felt no pain or discomfort. I was so calm and relieved during the process. On my follow-up visit, Yessi did a phenomenal job! She removed my temporary crown seamlessly with swift action. She was relentless in assuring that the crown fit correctly allowing for flossing clearance. I loved how she worked. This young lady was quite proficient and professional and did it in record time! My experience was terrific. I highly recommend this practice. The office staff is also very welcoming and attentive. I am very pleased with this practice.

Nothing to be up in arms about, UNTIL I SAW THE XRAYS. JEEBUS LORD. There was a crap root canal done, first of all. Mossy importantly though, there wad this weird, cockeyed SCREW (like, aaaaaan actual SCREW) in the root bed. That was what the enormous and righteously painful abcess had formed around. What the ACTUAL. My new dentist was dumbfounded. Super professional, trying not to speak poorly of a cohort...but he went to explain it and had nothing. Spo hee redid the root canal (yaaaaaaaaaaay!), removed the rogue hardware and now I'm dandy. But over a grand more poor, and as a single mom that blows goats. I have been a patient at The Dental Group for over 3 years and unfortunately I can no longer…read morerecommend them after my most recent experience. They do not do well at supporting patients with sensory issues or dental anxiety, or conditions like TMJ that make dental visits difficult. With new patients they are kinder, but with every visit I have made they have become less supportive and less accommodating. My last cleaning was extremely unpleasant and I was shamed into not taking breaks over the course of multiple procedures and fittings even though holding my jaw open causes my TMJ to flare. Then there's the high-pressure upselling. For several years, the dentists and hygienists at this practice have been trying to get me to buy a dental-grade night guard out of pocket, even though I had an over-the-counter one I had been happy with. I finally agreed because they told me it would help my gums and that I would face severe consequences if I did not "make the investment." I had to pay $750 (!!!) out of pocket. When the night guard arrived, it was so bulky and uncomfortable that I could not get a good night's sleep in it and I woke in the morning with severe jaw pain on both sides of my jaw. I went back to have it adjusted and suddenly I was being told that having a night guard means sleeping with your mouth open and accepting dry mouth, that jaw pain often gets worse at first, and that I would have to accept some bad sleep in order to become accustomed to the night guard. I cannot stress enough that this was NOT disclosed to me prior to when I made the purchase. Since the practice knew about my sensory and dental anxiety issues, I feel strongly that they should have talked to me about what the night guard would be like before pushing me to buy it. When I explained the above, the practice offered me only a partial refund, which would mean that I spent hundreds of dollars on nothing. I feel my trust was taken advantage of and I would encourage others to look for a different practice.

During my visit, the office used the available X-rays and comprehensive examination benefits, but my cleaning was not performed. Instead, I was repeatedly encouraged to schedule another appointment for the cleaning. When I expressed concerns about the services and billing based on guidance I received from my insurance company, the receptionist, Joanne, told me that I could "go somewhere else." Considering I was there as a patient seeking care, I found that response extremely unprofessional and dismissive. I was also given a statement showing a $197 balance. When I questioned the amount, I was subsequently told that I did not actually owe anything and that it was simply how the insurance company processed the claim. My understanding from speaking with my insurance company was that the services were covered at 100%, so the billing situation was very confusing and frustrating. What bothered me most was the disconnect between the way the office presents itself and the way I was treated as a patient. I was made to feel as though my questions and concerns were an inconvenience. Ultimately, Joanne's suggestion that I go somewhere else turned out to be the best advice I received. I did exactly that, and I will not be returning to this office. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because patients deserve clear communication, transparent billing, and respectful treatment.

While I waited, I was asked to pay the balance which I declined until after the services were rendered. I could not wait any longer and needed to leave to return to work. I expected the office to call to apologize but instead, I called after 2 weeks. I spoke with the Office Manager, Lindsey, and instead of an apology, she gave me excuses. I asked her to have the doctor call me but I did not receive a call from him. I called back after a week and asked Jenny for an appointment and the soonest was 5/19/2026. Jenny told me she would put me on the list in the event there was a cancellation, I would be called. The next day I received a text message that there was an open appointment on 5/5/2026. I confirmed. When I arrived, I waited in the waiting area for 20 minutes. When I was escorted to the back, I expressed the discomfort I was experiencing and the relief that I was there to remove the temporary crown. I was told the appointment was for a cleaning, not to put in the permanent crown. I could not believe it! I could not be seen that day, but I would be put back on the list in the event of a cancellation. I finally got the permanent crown on 5/19/2026. I requested my dental records and have changed to the Silberman Dental Group. The Silberman Dental Group does crowns same day and their customer service is impeccable!
