Joy made it such a seamless process by helping us decide on styles/fabrics/colors/etc. We could have easily been overwhelmed by all the different options to choose from but with her expertise she helped us find the best treatments to fit our space and give us the functionality that made the most sense for us. We also appreciated her transparency in pricing by giving us different options in the estimates to compare and ultimately decide what we wanted to go with. We were also very excited to find out our shades were ready to install a few weeks ahead of schedule. Joy's installer Michael did an amazing job installing all of our 18 individual shades in one job too which we really appreciated since it was a lot of work. Needless to say we are so thankful to Joy and her team for their efforts and would highly recommend them for your window treatment selection needs.

When I sold the house two years ago, they looked as great as when they'd been installed, and (in my opinion) helped the house sell quickly, and for a great price! Therefore, when I bought my new house, I didn't hesitate to reach out to Joy again. I found her to be just as easy to work with, and she had great ideas for the many, many windows in our new place. She also gave me great recommendations for other companies she'd worked with on the other upgrades we were doing. When anyone asks me about recommendations for this type of work, I recommend Joy again and again. She and her team do outstanding work!

After waiting for over 8 months for them, the shutters arrived defective and did not open and close properly. The owner of the manufacturing company (from China) even came to my house and verified they were defective. Everyone agreed and promised us a refund. To make a long story short, Robin the owner of All about Blinds refused to refund our money. She said she "didn't have it and wasn't responsible". Since our agreement was with the designer, Robin argued that we needed to have our designer refund us, not All about Blinds. Our designer refused to give us a refund because she said that she had not been paid from All about Blinds. We finally had to hire an attorney in order to get our money back. It was not an experience I would want anyone else to go through. Bottom line, stay away from All about Blinds! It was the worst customer service and worst experience I have ever had with a company here in Albuquerque. From what Robin (the owner) told us during the ordeal, she was broke and going out of business. Now I see she has reopened in another location, which why I am writing this review. I want to warn others that there are many other and much better options for purchasing window coverings. Eventually we did replace our shutters. Bill at Window Fashions was excellent, and now my shutters are beautiful. Bill has also been to my house many times to follow up and make sure that everything is as it should be. It's been 4 years now and I am still thrilled with the shutters I got from Window Fashions. All About Blinds was a huge mistake. I should have gone with Bill and Window Fashions from the very beginning.

The shades were still very much under warranty. We had just closed on the home and not even moved in our furniture and were standing in the kitchen on a different level in the home- nowhere near the shades- and we heard a loud thud. We ran to the site and saw one of the shades had fallen from 20 feet high. Damaged the stairwell and stone foyer, crushed a vase under its weight, and I can't imagine a person would survive this if they were standing under it. Instead of helping us out- 1) Karen tried to blame us by asking if we tampered with it. Mind you- these blinds are completely manually inaccessible unless you use a really tall ladder. She is an extremely condescending lady. 2) Karen refused to honor the warranty because it's 'non transferable' even though the prior owners contacted her requesting the same as well. 3) Karen then sent a team out who merely said 'the blinds are too high for us to repair them'- this is the same guy who installed them and clearly remembered the custom job, wouldn't you bring the necessary equipment?!. Also if they are so high, may be you should think twice before accusing customers about tampering with them. So here we are- over 45 days since these blinds came crashing down- with no resolution in sight. And I don't think there ever will be. Because instead of ownership, she is flat out denying any responsibility. I called Hunter Douglas directly and they said they have never heard of such a poor installation. The only case he had heard was when they were 20 plus years old and had deteriorated from aging. Since I was on the phone with 'I'm the Blind Lady', I later asked Karen if she can help reprogram the satellite setting because the blinds were programmed ascend/ descend based on sunrise/ sunset (not a feature we wanted to use)- she kept repeating- well that will be another hour of service and make sure you charge the blinds- gave us a lecture on how they need to be fully charged. Eventually I contacted Hunter Douglas directly in terms of changing the programming on the blinds. Their helpline folks were extremely helpful and got the situation addressed immediately over the phone- a quick 5 minute call. They asked to get online access to the app which we did. All it was- was a click in the app to change the setting- we figured it out on our own with previous owner. And she wanted to charge us. Feels like she is only interested in generating bills for customers, not actually providing any kind of customer service. Moreover, when my husband posted a review- she goes on to claim that this was what our original call was! What an absolute liar. Not to mention- a lot of the shades are installed poorly with the top railing lopsided. Very amateur work. Downright unprofessional company with a terrible attitude towards customers. Do not bother to buy blinds from them, and if you do- don't bother getting warranty because it's meaningless. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions about our experience with this company.
