That Establishment came to our home, did the measurements, did some recommendations and then quoted us a price. The price was a "eye opener" and I had asked them if they could work with me on getting the price down some. They said No! So we shopped around for other Vendors of Norman Shutters, and JC Blinds came up. I meant John Clark (JC Blinds) and we went over my invoice with him on the other establishment quote. Before he could give me a quote he said if he could come to my home, take some measurements, and see if he could beat the price of the other establishment. Within a day John called me back, and beat the other establishments quote by 1K. He got the job on the spot. But after the job was done I realized it was not all about price with JC Blinds. When John came to install the Shutters, he was punctual, showed Pride and Quality of Workmanship, very Neat and Clean, nice to talk to, and when all was said and done..he even vacuum my home after his job! What else can you ask for. John is the last of the Good Guys and I highly recommend him if you are in the market for Blinds or Shutters. You will not be disappointed! I have been very disappointed with "some" other Contractors in the Albuquerque area when its comes to Customer Service, Punctuality, Quality of Workmanship, and being Neat and Clean. But with JC Blinds, you could say that my Faith was redeem in that their our some businesses that still think with the Customer in mind, the Customer being number one, and the main priority is complete Customer Satisfaction.

One of the shades in the dining area began to fray at one edge. I called to report, and a tech came out. His solution was to burn off the frayed fabric with a lighter. He said if it happens again (which of course it did) to call and he would come out and check the roller. When I called, the receptionist who answered said I would be charged to send someone out. I asked for a supervisor. Jessica called me back and said this issue wasn't covered by the warranty. Total Blinds made a substantial profit from my order. Jessica said perhaps we were using that shade more than the one next to it. That wasn't the case. Even if that were true, the fraying shouldn't have happen ed if the shade was a quality product. Total Blinds and Jessica were a big disappointment! Don't waste your money if you want quality and a company who actually honors a lifetime warranty as advertised!

When I sold the house two years ago, they looked as great as when they'd been installed, and (in my opinion) helped the house sell quickly, and for a great price! Therefore, when I bought my new house, I didn't hesitate to reach out to Joy again. I found her to be just as easy to work with, and she had great ideas for the many, many windows in our new place. She also gave me great recommendations for other companies she'd worked with on the other upgrades we were doing. When anyone asks me about recommendations for this type of work, I recommend Joy again and again. She and her team do outstanding work!

Joy made it such a seamless process by helping us decide on styles/fabrics/colors/etc. We could have easily been overwhelmed by all the different options to choose from but with her expertise she helped us find the best treatments to fit our space and give us the functionality that made the most sense for us. We also appreciated her transparency in pricing by giving us different options in the estimates to compare and ultimately decide what we wanted to go with. We were also very excited to find out our shades were ready to install a few weeks ahead of schedule. Joy's installer Michael did an amazing job installing all of our 18 individual shades in one job too which we really appreciated since it was a lot of work. Needless to say we are so thankful to Joy and her team for their efforts and would highly recommend them for your window treatment selection needs.
