I have some golf clubs - and the driver has a space to add a weight if I wanted to. I think the weight I had was like 1.3oz and I was looking for a 4.1oz to replace it. I went all over Scottsdale - I went to some really fancy studios where they do custom fittings, and other golf shops - even the PGA Superstore and all of them had the same answer- "sorry can't get you that weight on its own / just doesn't work that way." Then I get to Van's and the whole story changes - the folks there were awesome. They asked how they could help - I told them what I was looking for - just the 4.1oz weight (I had everything else I needed) and they said "no problem" the ordered it from TaylorMade and had it drop shipped to my house. Completely awesome - the simplest transaction I have had in a long time. They went out of their way to help me and I am very thankful for that. This is the place.

As mentioned, because so many frequent this course the range balls are in bad shape at times. Although my last visit the range balls were good as I didn't find a majorly scuffed up one. Range is lit halfway with targets and distance. This alone I would probably give 3 stars. Gil makes up for the rest. I've been through a few instructors who just didn't do it for me let alone help me drop my scores. When I met Gil I constantly shot in the 100's. After about a little over 1.5 years of practice and drills I'm constantly shooting in the 80's and taking my friends monies. Gil has provided me with mental strength for my game and awesome alignment and contact drills that I can take with me anywhere. I would suggest if you are looking for help this is your place and Gil can sort you out. Don't be afraid to step into a lesson atmosphere and learn a little. Enjoy the game!

They couldn't find it for a week and I thought all hope was lost until popping back in today and the staff letting me know they found it. They were genuinely excited for me and were so helpful and caring throughout the process (even though it was my fault). Brett and Joe were the standouts and so caring. Stood in front of the bays with the club I wanted to test for 15 minutes being ignored by the guy there. Decided to leave and went to a place at the mall, even though they were slammed I was approached in 2 minutes, tested 3 drivers, and left with a new qi35 max. I'll give 2 stars because I think one of the guys in the test bays just walked in with his own clubs and started using it and that was cool.

I had to stand in line for FORTY FREAKING MINUTES while those guys at the counter jabberred and jabberred like best buddies having a beer about the merits of this weapon or that one. I have SERIOUS back issues and it was shear freaking misery for me to do this. I told the guy who finally waited on me, "Hey, man. I know you don't run this place, but my wait to buy these primers was just NOT ACCEPTABLE. Perhaps you ought to have two lines? One for lookie lous and one for people who actually want to BUY SOMETHING?" I made a point of being calm and nice, even though my back was afire. I told him politely that they would NEVER see my face again at that counter. I'd rather pay the UPS hazard fee than stand in line for 45 minutes. That's a NO BRAINER. The guys who run that place HAVE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS' EXPERIENCES. Not. Ever. That's why they s**k.
