However, inevitably the brow starts to become thinner and thinner, or, you get your skin waxed off of your ultra sensitive upper eye lid. (Yes, that happened to me. In Anchorage. Ouch.) That's all different now because I've FINALLY gotten an esthetician who KNOWS her stuff. I hate reviewing people and really debated about doing this... but I feel like If you are offering a service then you should deliver. Now I have to spend $$$$ to have them removed by a professional tattoo removal company to get rid of them and start over with an artist that knows what they are doing. I don't like anything about them, the shape, they are way too wide in the front with no natural arch and then they go from thick to pointy on the ends which I didn't ask for, ever. The SOLID shading which makes my brows look ugly and totally fake! By far one of the WORST brows job I've seen in a long time and sadly it's on me! Now the color looks greyer, and they should look dark brown like my natural hair color, and the pointy ends are ridiculous! Prior to having them done I showed her pictures of work from the former artist that did them previously so I thought she knew what she was doing but apparently not! I didn't ask to have my brows filled in like this, I asked her to make them a little "fuller" than my brows (meaning just a few more hair strokes) prior to what she did but she totally took away the arch and filled them in on the ends like a FAKE pencil would. I said I wanted them to look more natural, and she totally gave me a "botched" powder brow job. I mean what artist would do this "style" on a client. Even if this was my "preference" which obviously it wasn't, she should have made recommendations as to what would look best on my face but she didn't. Again, I asked for them to look like how my previous artist did. She just did what SHE thought looked good. She did not show me examples of pictures as to what she was about to do, she just went ahead and did my brows and was SHOCKED at what I saw when she was done!! After I got home the first day I had them done and looked closer in the mirror, I saw my brows and was so shocked I was speechless...even called her panicking when I got home to let her know this is not MY style and they are too "thick" and pointy on the ends which again, I didn't ask for and look terrible!! She just said "calm down and trust the process" which I did but that didn't fix the fact she ruined my brows! After my 3rd time going back for a correction for her to remove the point ends with saline solution which wasn't successful AND A WASTE OF MORE $$, I sent her a text message yet again letting her know I'm still very much unsatisfied and didn't like my brows and then that's when she proceeded to list all the reasons how she tried to help fix them but she didn't actually fix them at all and proceeded to gaslight me and tell me that this is MY "fault" and this was MY "preference" from the start but it wasn't!! Again, any GOOD professional artist who knows what they are doing would never do this type of brow style on anyone. I mean look at a picture of my brows in 2019 when I had a different artist fill them in and although a little bolder, they look natural, not drawn on like somebody used an eyebrow pencil! I honestly think she truly hates me as a client and doesn't want to admit that she made a mistake and did a terrible job and doesn't care or want to be bothered with trying to fix it or make it right by refunding my $$$. Because if you look at her previous work most of them look ok, and now there's mine which look awful!! I have no idea what she was thinking but really wish I could get my $$$$ back because she really missed the mark on mine! What a shame!! I'm going in for laser tattoo removal soon...that's the only way to get rid of these hideous brows!!
