I hired Ernie to sell my home because he was my neighbor and someone I thought I could trust to…read moreguide me through the process. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. I found out the day before closing that he was representing both me and the buyer. I realize now that I must have signed something disclosing this, and that's on me--but at no point did Ernie ever clearly explain that he was working for both sides. Explaining this to your client should be done in person and clearly -- not hidden as a sneaky waiver buried among other paperwork. When I asked him about it, his only response was, "Maybe you just don't remember me telling you." He didn't seem to understand why representing both parties is a serious conflict of interest. The conversation was unpleasant and left me feeling taken advantage of. Ernie clearly has experience, which is why I chose him in the first place, but based on my experience, I would never recommend him. When you hire someone to handle something as stressful and important as selling your home, you should be able to trust that they're acting in your best interest. I walked away from my sale feeling disappointed, violated, and questioning every part of the negotiation he handled. It's also important to mention that Ernie allowed the buyer (his client) to enter my home without his supervision. I had been under the impression that the walk-throughs were being done with their realtor and a contractor present, but it turns out the buyers were in my home alone. He also omitted an important part of the negotiations from our contract, which resulted in both the buyer and me receiving conflicting information. Because of this mistake, he ended up having to pay for a property cleanup out of his own pocket. It was framed as a "courtesy" on his part rather than an error in handling the negotiations -- a clear example of why most people advise against dual agency when buying or selling a home.

I dealt with this brokerage firm for the purchase of my first house in Jan 2015: Closing went ok,…read morethere was a set back with the closing date which in turn aggravated the sellers when we were finally able to sit down and sign the papers. A year later, I needed to replace the HVAC unit in that same home - I called the same broker that helped me purchase the house (which I am seeing was a HUGE mistake) and again, everything was good until the appraisal came through completely erroneous and challenges had to be entered against their report. After listening to this broker regarding the status of this refi, I signed the contracts to have the HVAC installed. Needless to say, after the challenges were entered and the contracts were singed, she did not return any of my phone calls or emails, leaving me to cover the cost of the HVAC unit from my own pocket. This company is NOT LOYAL and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...DO NOT USE THEM!!! STAY AWAY. I have talked to others who have used this company and broker and they state the same thing as I do and DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

They were able to send us an expansive, detailed report with photos and videos the same day. Before work started, everything was scheduled and the process flowed beautifully. All permits were handled without any involvement from us and they used a straight forward project app to ensure we had daily updates. I've added some photos but it's hard to show exactly how much difference this addition en-suite has made to our home and all the behind the scenes electrics and plumbing required to make it happen. We are over the moon with the end result and enjoyed the structured process of delivery. We are about to contract with them to renovate an existing en-suite and build a new hidden walk in closet.
