We dealt with Preety Minhas of Keller Williams on a house we tried to purchase in the Lehigh Valley. After providing our offer, which included bank statements and pre-approval letter from our mortgage broker, she reached out directly to our mortgage broker for more information. Her reaching out to the mortgage broker directly was not the issue, the issue is when she emailed our mortgage broker she sent him a Google Document link that included an excel list of six offers she had for the property we were trying to purchase. This Google Document included names, offer prices (which ours was the highest listed), mortgage financing information, down payment amount, contingencies and her personal notes. Although I can't say definitively, I assume this offer information may have been sent to every person who made an offer. Our offer was eventually not selected, which is fine and to be expected in this market, especially when the sellers agent is potentially "shopping" our private information and offer amount to everyone who made an offer. Ultimately, we didn't feel like she was operating in "Good Faith". As a buyer making one of the largest purchases of our life, we did not feel like our information was treated with the respect and privacy it deserved. I would recommend people proceed with caution when viewing one of her listings. If we see a house that we like in the future and Preety Minhas is the realtor we will be removing it from our list. read more
