I loved this place! If id only had more time in here! (There is so much to look at I'd be here all…read moreday) I was going to pick up a few things when in I went a little slower to shop for myself. The selection of goodies in this boutique is MASSIVE! Everywhere you look there are such cool things One of the girls and one working the floor really helped me because I was fascinated by the candles but confused on what was what, so thank you loves! I even found a kitty calendar for 2026 and I am already extremely excited to hang it up! As far as the cost was id you kept your eye out you could get some seriously good products for a good deal I think I got 5-6 chunky candles some oils the calendar for 50 to 69 bucks but there are some candles there that are that exact price. The girls working will steer you in the right direction away from the crazy high priced things 1000/10 overall WILL be returning with friends to do some serious damage bans say hello to the sweet employees!!

What a cute shop of trinklets!!!…read more After the Midtown Farmers Market, my Sis and I wanted to walk around some more. Be sure to pay for your parking before you walk away!! On weekends, it's harder to find parking, but with patience, you'll get one. My sister wanted to go to vampire penguin but we were distracted by "Garden of Enchantment." As we walked in, we noticed the astrology books and then crystals, wind chimes... there were beautiful wooden chests that I want to come back for. This store has narrow isles and gets packed! So be careful! Any of these items can be beautiful gifts or just something special for yourself. I ended up getting some jewelery and some incense for my daughter. Some items felt like they were very overpriced. Like... back in Roseville, I could get the same crystal for at least $8 cheaper. Not that I couldn't afford it, but to me, it was a ridiculously priced... but hey!! It's in Old Sacramento... which can be a touristy kinda place! So prices get hiked! When I paid for my items, the girl behind the register was fast and had me out of the crowd quick. Onto the next shop!!!!

My friend purchased a sign-in book for the ceremony and wanted her husband's name on the front. My friend asked me if I could write it nicely, or if I knew anyone who could. In that instance, you know you should entrust that kind of thing to an expert, and Ana is an expert. She responded very promptly and had questions that put me at ease immediately: what was the book made of? Was it something porous? Going back and forth with a grieving family was slow-going, but Ana was patient and communicative, even with the tight turnaround. She was clear and upfront about what we should expect, and the price for her work was very reasonable. And the finished product was lovelier than I could have imagined. It was thoughtfully placed and even packaged beautifully. My friend loved the book so much and was so happy with the result. The whole experience was so positive and easy that I won't hesitate to add calligraphy to any special events that come along, because of Ana. Thank you Ana, for helping this grieving family!

Sad news indeed, but thee are the times we live in. Press a buzzer and you will be ushered into not a speakeasy but a very special store that feels more like an art exhibit and stage set that ushers you into another world. All your senses are engaged, from the tinkling of wind chimes, to a tapestry of textures and colors found in beautiful objects of art. The store offers miniature treasures to exquisite full scale sculptures and everything in between. I had read about this import store and followed them online, but nothing can capture the essence of this marvelous retail store unless you enter the space. I came here seeking purple themed treasures for my sibkid's 21st birthday. The owner and a staff member went above and beyond to help me in my quest, and I definitely was inspired at the incredible selection and artistic displays. It was also educational shopping here as I read about the various history and meaning of the objects with informative signage. Your budget can be a few dollars or into the thousands, there is a big range of price points here. High value items are understandably behind glass cases. The displays were breathtaking and were thematically arranged by geographical region/country; Asia, Africa, Mexico/Central and South America, etc. I have not enjoyed a shopping experience this much in years! It reminded me of the locally owned stores I shopped at when I was a kid growing up in a small college town that had tons of independent shops, and how much fun it was. It made me realize how much we have been sold a bill of goods with the chain and big box stores taking over our society. We've been robbed of community, connection, art, and supporting our local economy all for a soulless exchange of "convenience" and "lower prices." Having completed my mission, I was awed when the owner proceeded to carefully and artistically wrap each item and then use custom gift paper (purple, of course!) and ribbon to create the perfect gift box for my sibkid. He included informative write ups of the objects when applicable and told me some additional wonderful stories about the provenance and sourcing of several items. I even got a great local restaurant recommendation! Pleasant shopping experience, great value, and absolute win with my sibkid, who delightedly opened each treasure that evening. I was definitely "winning" as an Auntie thanks to Zanzibar Trading. If you can't make it in person, they have a Facebook live auction every Saturday. But definitely try to go in person. It's a unique, one of a kind store that is a transformative retail experience and provides the perfect place for gift shopping for a loved one or yourself. Go.You deserve it! Free parking in their adjacent lot. Across from the Broadway Target and Golden One credit union.

They have a lot of Sacramento items as well and even have items for different neighborhoods. Some of these are items from their team, and some are sourced from local vendors. There's a good mix of local business items, small business items, and popular items that make this a much different experience than other gift shops. Unfortunately, this pharmacy is no longer on the preferred pharmacy list with my health insurance…read more When I filled a script here recently, they could only fill one month's worth of meds, but I didn't find this out until I picked up. It would've been helpful if they told me when they ran my insurance and then give me a choice whether I still wanted to go through them to fill my Rx and get only 30 days of meds and then have to come back 2 more times in the next 2 months to get the rest of my full script of 90 days or to go somewhere else. I'm not sure if it's same cost to fill a 3 months script split over 3 times or not, but the inconvenience factor is a consideration for me. When I found out and the cashier explained why, she was not friendly about it. She was kind of curt and borderline rude about it, like I should've known (things could change even with the same health insurance every year) and that they have no responsibility to let me know ahead of time that they can only fill 1/3 of a 90 days script now. Anyways, they also started charging a surcharge for credit card usage and this wasn't always the case. It's only 25c for $10 charged for example, but it's the principle of passing on costs to customers when it's really the overhead that a pharmacy that's quite established should expect. Or only accept cash, but I imagine that would turn away many customers. In any case, I may have to find a new pharmacy now, unfortunately. Even though I want to continue to support a small business, the customer service piece should be as good if not better. We walked around a bit afterwards and although the gifts they sell are different and unique, the sticker shock was unreal.
