It is rare to find a contractor who does excellent work, charges a fair price, communicates well…read moreand actually does what they say they are going to do. EnviroTek exceeded my expectations in every way. A deck is a major expense and there are a lot of pieces involved -- design, materials, engineering, permits, inspections and construction. Before choosing EnviroTek, I got three bids. Some of the other proposals were extremely expensive, and it wasn't always clear who would actually be doing the work or how much would be subcontracted. EnviroTek was different from the beginning. Sammy, the proprietor, was straightforward, responsive, organized and very easy to work with. He never pressured me or tried to upsell me. His proposal was clear, his pricing was reasonable, and I always knew what I was paying for. There were no unpleasant surprises with the cost and Sammy was always upfront whenever a decision needed to be made. Sammy uses his own crew and has worked with them for years. They showed up every day, worked incredibly hard and clearly took pride in doing the job well. Even my neighbors commented on how impressed they were with them and how consistently they worked. My home is in an HOA, so I couldn't get too creative with the design and everything had to fit the existing architectural style. Even with those limitations, the finished decks and walkway came out beautifully and I am extremely happy with the result. The work was done cleanly and properly and we passed every inspection without any problems.  I was away for a good part of the construction, which could easily have made a project like this stressful, but it wasn't. Sammy kept me updated, regularly sent photos and let me know how things were progressing. I never had to chase anyone down or wonder what was going on. I felt completely comfortable having the work continue while I was away because I knew they cared about my house and were going to do things the right way. That is not something I take for granted with a contractor. Overall, EnviroTek went far beyond what I expected. They turned a stressful situation into a manageable and successful project. They were dependable, responsive, trustworthy and genuinely cared about getting things right and keeping the site clean during construction. I really cannot say enough good things about EnviroTek. This was one of the best referrals I have ever received, and I would recommend them without hesitation. If you are considering building or replacing a deck, I would absolutely call Sammy before making a decision. My only regret is that Sammy doesn't do every kind of construction and home repair, because I would happily hire him for everything in my house. Truly an outstanding company and an outstanding team. Five stars is not enough.

A site visit was done by John, as a quality check, and he was great. I will continue to use EnviroTek for my decks and fences. Quality. Care. Value.

The entire crew and all subcontractors were professional, communicative, and helpful from start to finish. We especially appreciated how transparent they were throughout the permit process. Managing all of those moving parts on our own would have been incredibly challenging, so we're very grateful to have had Techwood oversee the entire project. 5/5 - True Craftsmanship and Professionalism from Perretti Builders…read more After building fences and decks for many years and eventually becoming a general contractor specializing in custom homes (including our own), my husband has extremely high standards when it comes to construction quality. He personally designed and built our home's deck twice over the past 50 years--each one lasting 25 years. Now, at 88 years old, he decided it was time to pass the torch and hire a contractor to construct our third deck. We carefully interviewed several builders and reviewed examples of their work before choosing Perretti Builders, and we are so glad we did. Their quote was reasonable compared to others, and JorgePadilla, who speaks both English and Spanish, was incredibly receptive to our ideas and special requests, including built-in benches and flower boxes, while working within our existing footprint. The crew, led by Amalcar, arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. every day. All three workers were highly skilled, friendly, and made sure to clean up the site daily. My husband, a true craftsman himself, was genuinely impressed by the quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of the entire team. The finished deck is absolutely beautiful--thoughtfully constructed, sturdy, and completed on time and on budget. If you are planning a new deck, pergola, arbor, or outdoor structure, we wholeheartedly recommend Perretti Builders. Jorge Perretti has our full permission to show this sample of his work. Mike and his crew demolished our old 570 sq. ft. deck and stairs, built a new pressure-treated frame, and installed Eva-Last Infinity composite decking. They also assembled our 12' x 24' aluminum pergola and anchored it on six posts. The backyard looks completely different now, and we're using it far more than before. Their lead carpenter, Rashid, knows deck building inside and out and was meticulous about every part of the build. It was clear he cared about getting the details right, and it shows in the finished deck. Mike was easy to reach and kept us informed. We had a detailed proposal within a couple of days of the estimate, and the final price matched the quote, with no surprise charges. For the amount of work involved, the job was done quickly. We highly recommend MS Construction and Services to anyone planning a deck project.
