I joined SlimGym because I had a great friend that I saw that was changing her body and her mind. She was going to this gym. I watched her for about a year and then she invited me to come over and check it out. I liked it but still didn't join for another 3-4 months. Slim Gym is unlike any other gym I've been to! The amount of support, guidance, and overall training you get here is immeasurable! Walking into a new gym can be nerve wracking but everyone was so welcoming and friendly that I automatically felt comfortable! So happy a nice fitness studio has opened in the neighborhood! I was looking to start working out on regular basis as my new year resolution, like a lot us promise ourselves every year. This time I actually think I might be able to stick to the routine. The owner Vera is very personable and knowledgeable, she took time to get to know me and understand my struggles and goals. I took her group class and it was amazing, she came by to correct my form and to motivate me to push harder. So much different from going to those classes at large chain gyms. If you are tired of making up excuses to start exercising this is the gym for you. The classes are fun and different every day. One thing I was scared before going was being judged at the gym or being the one that slows down the class, but it wasn't like that here. Everyone is amazing and supports one another. I just finished my 6 week challenge with SlimGym and I lost 24lbs! ...And my fiancé lost 22!! The challenge is awesome, she gives you very simple rules to follow and provides great workouts so you can get there. I have been having private training sessions with Vera for the past few months and Im really happy with her services. Their yoga instructor is also great! This is a great place to come especially if you're intimidated by the gym. It's more intimate, and perfectly sized so that it's not overwhelming. I just finished a 6 week challenge at Slim Gym in Escondido and I am super happy I signed up! I lost 25.4 lbs and Vera the trainer who is also the owner is awesome! Vera was there during the entire challenge to cheer me on and was always available when I needed her. The gym is great and so are the ladies that attend. Wow!! Finally a gym were I can take classes. I was going to one gym for awhile because it was cheap but became bored very quickly since they didn't offer any classes.
