I walked up to Reforma to go to the bbq place next door, but when I arrived they refused to serve my boyfriend and me. Since I was extremely hungry (and it was 8:30pm), I decided to go to this place instead because it was nearby.
We sat outside on the patio (I'm not sure if there's any inside seating). There were quite a few mosquitos and bugs, but it was fine.
We both ordered horchatas and they were pretty good. My boyfriend ordered these crazy tacos with beef, onions, cheese, bacon, peppers, etc. He enjoyed it a lot. I got a gringa and an al pastor taco. The al pastor meat was a little too crunchy.
The thing that I really liked was that they let you put on your own toppings. I like my al pastor tacos with a lot of onions and pineapple, and I was able to add as much as I wanted.
This place is pretty cheap and the tacos are good. Don't go out of your way for it. However, if you are in the neighborhood, it's a good option. read more
