We were seated right away, the staff was friendly and we got chips and salsa immediately (the mark of any good Mexican place.) The menu was a bit overboard with the number of options, I see that a lot lately. It's is sometimes better, folks. Anyway, the portions were large and came out quickly. They were also delicious! I should've taken notes on what everyone got, but I can assure you that no one was disappointed. Just wish this place was closer to home!

The chalupa was good but rather odd to eat with refried beans--they just ooze out the end with every bite but I loved the shell. I had asked if I had any options on the chalupa and there weren't any, so I suspected it would be bean. I would have loved a chicken chalupa. If I ever go back here, I will try to get chicken chalupas. The best thing I ate was the ground beef taco--crunchy and light shell, decent beef. The chips are nice and light & crispy. The sauce is good with just enough heat. My hubby got the #4 with chilli relleno, taco and an enchilada. He thought the same as me--it's ok. It was hot and served pretty fast. If you want standard Mexican food, this fills your hunger. The decor is bright and festive.

Chips and salsa were delivered to the table along with menus. The salsa was fresh and tasty. Two hot sauces on the table allowed us to adjust the heat as desired. We will be stopping here again when we are driving I29
