Don't judge me.... Just because it had been 18 years since my last dentist appointment I ended up…read morechoosing these guys because of their positive reputation from friends on Facebook. I was expecting much worse news than I received. After an EXTENSIVE cleaning on my teeth they only discovered 2 small cavities. We scheduled an appointment a few weeks out to take care of that and I happily showed off my gleaming white teeth to everyone I saw. When I was scheduled to come back the black ice storm of 2014 had hit Crestview. The receptionist called me from her own house to let me know they were closed that day and rescheduled me further out. I was surprised they took the time to let me know considering how bad the weather was that day. When I arrived to have the cavities taken care of I only had to wait in the waiting room about 8 minute before they took me in. Upon further inspection of my teeth it was found that one of my old fillings had come loose and a small cavity had formed underneath it. They went ahead and knocked out all 3 of the cavities in one visit to save time for me. They even used pediatric strength numbing agents to keep me comfortable. I have a MASSIVE fear of dentists from childhood and it was nice that Dr. Wayer and her staff did an excellent job of keeping me calm and numbing me properly so as to prevent pain during my visit. I would highly recommend them BUT not recommend waiting 18 years before your next visit!!

Did not offer bone grafting for better support of a 4 post implant (guaranteed 2 post). Equipment/product malfunctions that were slow to scan and sent all white dentures. Staff (nice for the most part, finance only nice, when you sign up) has to keep running to doctor for answers. Doctor availability, seems to take a lot of vacations. Makes you sign, when products are not fully together, validating they fit well.

Dr. Barnes was recommended to me by Nikki Johnson Henderson. (My girl Dixie) She could not have been more spot on for what I was looking for in a GREAT dentist and team of professionals to look after me. I was extremely nervous and embarrassed because I had let things go. Now back on track, at ease and feeling very comfortable with great care received at this establishment. Jessica, the hygienist, could not have been more caring and gentle and went to great lengths to explain everything in detail. Dr. Barnes is a real gentleman and will take great care of you. Miranda, the receptionist also went to great lengths to write everything down and explain everything in detail. Everyone here really takes the time and care to make sure you are comfortable with your care plan, cost and the steps you need to take to get back on track. A job well done Angel's and I thank you ALL! I look forward to many more visits and now know I have my dental team for life. A very clean, calm, state of the art facility. Handicap access and good parking too.

The worst Pediatric Dental Experience in 17 1/2 years, with 3 kids. Actually, the worst dental…read moreexperience in my 44 years with any dentist (and i was broughtup with those 80s dentists!). Before I scheduled my kids appointment I did the right thing by confirming with this provider and the Crestview location that they were in network with my SPECIFIC insurance via plan number and social security number. Moreover I sent them their required new patient paperwork over 2 months before the scheduled appointments with all of the required information for our insurance. Upon exiting the appointment I was assured the appointment was in network and I don't owe anything. Then, SUPRISE, I get notified from my insurance company of a balance. When I contacted the dental office to talk about it they said "talk to your insurance company". I don't know where Wild Smiles Crestview messed up, but if I was OUT of Network, do you think they would have let me go without paying a penny the day of the visit? It is abundantly clear that office management does not know how to do their job or admit when they screw up. Additionally, I never received a bill from them, not ONE bill in 9 months since the visit. Instead, I received a letter from a collection agency over 9 months later. As for the visit, the office seemed like a pop up location that you would see for a blood drive. The cleaning and exam for both children seemed rushed and impersonal. Also, the staff seemed way more interested in celebrating the doctors birthday then putting the attention on the CHILDREN. What was also offputting and strange is when we were leaving they wanted to schedule a follow up appointment, but said they would have to restrict the appointment to a certain time of the day because of the way that kids "act" during that time if day. How insulting that is? Some stranger knows what time of day my kids act the best? It is now so apparent why this was the closest dentist (1 hour and 45 minutes) to us that was "in-network" and taking new patients.
