It's such a refreshing blessing to come across someone like Dennis at Zooks. He's thorough,…read moreattentive, careful, and above all else, honest. I had a few contractors take a look at a potential roofing issue, including some who simply provided quotes based on photos without ever looking in person. Dennis, however, not only wanted to assess in person but took the time to get onto the roof and check things out. Drawing on his lifetime expertise in roofing, he quickly identified the issue and offered to fix it on the spot. I'm happy to say everything looks as good as new. I strongly recommend Zooks. His company kind of feels like a "best kept secret" for roofing needs on Yelp. Looking forward to leveraging Dennis' skills for additional projects. (Note to anyone else reading this: please be aware there are other, unrelated companies with the same name -- don't confuse them as I almost did.)

US Pride did a wonderful job on our front sidewalk and patio. From the very beginning everyone we…read morewe were in contact with was prompt straight forward and honest. They helped us decide what was the best option for us and completed the job very quickly. They even came out to fix one spot that we didn't like with out hesitation or question. The only thing we thought was odd was when they came to the house to get the payment. We thought we would mail it but she wanted it right then. Not a huge deal for us but we've never done that before. We are very happy with the end product. It is a beautiful stamped concrete patio and sidewalk.

It took his crew TWO MONTHS to install a small home steel roof. During that time we had several leaks and the crew leader shook it off saying "I have insurance" as if to say "not my problem we cannot keep a schedule or install roofing correctly". Called Mike several times to get this corrected and the crew showed up at my house upset because I called their boss! Mike had also promised some "gift cards" to make up for the inconvenience (never saw them, was happier to see the crew finally leave). And lastly, we are still having issues with our porch roof leaking and they never bothered to even email, phone concerning the issue. My advice from our experience is to steer clear of this contractor at all costs!

The roofing crewdid a great job considering delays of snow and extreme cold and didn't leave trash all over the place, they cleaned up every day they were there.  The window crew was next and boy what a difference:  new windows!  No nasty old moldy sills and caulking.  We figure we saved a bunch of money having Techniques replace the windows. Then the biggest deal of all:  new siding.  We can't say enough about the job done by Rick, Jeff and Scott.  The attention to detail and correct measurements made a spectacular difference  to the house.  The colors are perfect and even better than we expected; it's gorgeous and exactly as we envisioned.  The neighbors are impressed! The Techniques Crew made a silk purse from a sow's ear.
