I have had 3 quilts that I cut and sewed together and had her machine quilt them. The mother has had a dozen or so quilted by the owner. She is intelligent and nice and very helpful. She will help you pick fabrics that go well together and she even teaches classes if you would like to learn how to quilt or a special pattern. She makes vests, jackets, pot holders, you name it and she will quilt it. Prices are a little higher than JoAnn or Walmart, but you are getting experience with her. There are no coupons. But being one of the only quilt shops for 100 miles you can get away with it. I have stopped having my quilts done here in town and send them here because she is so good and she is actually a little less expensive to quilt items than shops in the KCMO area.

jan is the most rude person i have ever met . my neice and i were in there to drop off a quilt top…read moreto be quilted (she farms them out) well my neice had been in there before when my neice had lap band surgery she lost some weight then had problems and she gained it all back and jan (the owner) said to her as she was walking out the door i see the your lap band surgery didn't work is that rude or what that is not the end of the story when she went to pick up the quilt part of the quilt wasn't quilted the binding looked like a five year old did it the parts of the binding didn't even catch the quilt the filling was sticking out and no label (which my neice ask to be put on) my neice ask where is the label jan(owner) just shugged her shoulders. I will never ever go into that store again and i suggest no one else should either.
