There was no way to make the dress work. I literally had breakdown right there not knowing what I was going to do. So she was either going to make me a dress or I was off to find another dress. She was so wonderful!!! I was lucky enough to find a dress and back I came and she got me fitted in a beautiful dress in a matter of days. I have 2.5 weeks before the wedding and I can rest easy knowing I have a dress! Thank you so much ladies! I will always recommend you and so glad my girls also went to you. 10/10 100% Thank you!!! Boat dealers required us to leave our boat & cover for 4-6 weeks to do the alteration - during the summer! Not an option for us. But we needed the alteration done, so we searched for traditional tailors. Awada was upfront that they hadn't worked on a boat cover before, but took it on. The final alteration addressed the problem and met our expectations. Not a perfect fit, but that'd be impossible without having the boat to fit it. They were very speedy, took only 4 days from drop off to pick up.

I made an appointment after using the request a quote tool on Yelp. The response rate was remarkable and within about 30 minutes I had an appointment for a few days later. The location is easy to find but tucked away off Henderson Rd. in a small shopping complex next to a barber shop and a paint store. The staff is friendly and quick to greet you when you arrive. My appointment took less than twenty minutes. My dress took about two weeks and I had it hemmed, a slit put in the front, and the straps shortened a bit. It came out to about $115 with tax and the work was wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to come back the next time I need any clothing alterations. The reviews are real and you can definitely trust them.

However, the 2nd time I tried to have nice $25 sweatshirts embroidered just to find out they were ruined because the lady used the wrong colors. She was so 'kind' to replace them with cheap HANES sweatshirt and didn't charge me. I figured I'd give them another chance for the 3rd time and have a few more shirts done. About 3+ weeks go just to find out they weren't done yet. The lady said she'd get them done by the end of week. The following Tuesday I went to pick up my shirts but found they still weren't done! I decided to just take my shirts back and go elsewhere. There is no reason why you can't fulfill 5 LOUSY shirts in a 3 week/pushing 4 week period. I got the feeling small customers are not valued and are put on the back burner. The positive experience rate is 33% after 3 visits which is an "F". Also, they don't even answer the phone with 'Annies Embroidery', just a Hello? This throws me off because it seems like I called the wrong #. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.
