I am very impressed with her extensive level of experience working with all types of fabric (silk, jersey wool, wool, linen and cotton) and clothing for men and women. She and her husband are very professional, friendly and kind. Turnaround time is reasonable and price is more than fair. This is a hidden gem and I am so lucky to have found them. I've only had it a little over a year, and it was in excellent condition, no stains, no holes, nothing. When I brought it in, the woman working there insisted on charging me an extra $16 to "repair" the zipper because there were a few loose threads. She said it needed to be fixed before cleaning to prevent damage. It was literally just a loose thread, but I paid it anyway. I dropped my jacket off on Monday, and the pickup date they gave me was Thursday at 5 PM. I went to collect it, and suddenly my coat wasn't there. She told me to come back the next day. I said okay and called the following day to confirm it was ready before coming in. That's when I was told some nonsense story that my jacket had a stain and needed to be re-cleaned. My jacket had no stain when I brought it in, so what are you talking about? Then she told me to come back Monday. I told her that was impossible because it was -6°C, snowing and raining heavily, and this is my winter coat. I needed it by the next day at the latest. After that, I was given yet another story, this time that the delivery driver couldn't deliver because of the rain. None of this made any sense. I then asked for the store manager's number, and she refused to give it to me. Instead, she tried offering 50% off my next service but there will absolutely NOT be a next time. This morning (Saturday) she finally called to say my coat was ready. When I went to pick it up, I saw that the hardware on my all-black jacket is now completely scratched, to the point that it looks silver instead of black. When I pointed this out, she had the nerve to tell me I brought the jacket in like that and that there was nothing she could do about it. So after keeping my coat two extra days, giving me multiple false explanations, refusing to give me the manager's contact, and damaging my jacket, they still refused to take any responsibility. Terrible service from beginning to end. Zero accountability. And to the business responding to other reviews claiming customers are "scamming" you, trust and believe I have all the time in the world. People deserve to know exactly how this business operates. Don't bother trying to delete this review either, because I will just post another one. PLEASE NOTE: the first two photos were taken 2 WEEKS before I took it to LONG BRANCH CLEANERS, the last 3 photos are how I received it.

Not only does the owner do dry cleaning at a reasonable rate. He did some pants alterations for me. Turning a pair of long pants into a pair of shorts I needed for work, a perfect fit. He also repaired a blanket that needed extensive stitching, a perfect job. He offered to have the repair and alteration done the same day, but I said it was OK and picked it up the next day. I tried this place after getting tired of paying what felt like excessively priced dry cleaning fees from the place upstairs in Bloor Islington Place. A few cleanings and hems later and I have been happy with the results. Shirts are $5 to clean. I forget exactly how much for a full suit but I know its over $5 cheaper than upstairs, so lets call it $15 at most. $6 hems, which if you drop off in the morning will be ready that afternoon for pickup. The only way you can get into this area is if you're coming off the MiWay buses or pay the TTC fare, so that may be a discouraging reason for some to use these guys... But as a metropass carrying individual, it's actually pretty convenient to grab my stuff before jumping on the subway to head home for the day.

I was told of course and that they would have it done right away! WEEKS later I finally was able to pick up my garment. I went in and asked if the stain was removed to the lady working the front desk and I was reassured that it was (Stupid me should have checked for myself instead of trusting them). I paid and walked to the car before inspecting it, and realized the garment still had the stain and looked even worse than before. I went back in and asked why I was told that the stain was removed when it wasn't and received a blank stare back from the employee. I asked if they would be willing to remove the stain (which is what I paid for) or give me a refund. The girl was SUPER rude and said that they would remove the stain for me. I again asked and said is this a stain you can realistically get out? If not, I would be happy with a refund and no harm done. I was only angry I paid for a service that I didn't receive at the time. She reassured me that the stain would be out and to trust them, so I did. Big mistake. Same thing happened again when I went back to pick it up. The stain was not removed and the man working the front desk was incredibly RUDE. He said it wasn't his problem the stain wouldn't come out, and that I had already paid for the service so there was nothing he could do. I asked about a refund (again I understand if the stain is unremovable but I don't want to pay such a high price for a service I never received) and he said that they don't offer refunds. ALL of the staff were rude and unhelpful and they obviously do not care about their customers at all. Would never return or recommend to anyone. Go anywhere else.

The woman who picked up was rude in that lazy, I don't give a shit attitude as she asked me which coin laundry I was in. After telling her she said that it first didn't work and then that it was taken away because people were abusing it. The inconsistency of her story convinced me that it was never available at this location. When I highlighted that they were advertising as having wifi online she acted disinterested and informed me that it was no problem. I guess I wouldn't have had as much of a problem with this if I a) hadn't been lied to and b) was treated like shot when I asked about it. Addition; A minute after writing this review in the laundromat a tile fell off the wall next to me.
