My heroes. Our…read moreclothes washer door wouldn't open after an overloaded spin cycle caused the clothes washer to stop and emergency locked the door. It wasn't an easy job. The emergency door latch for a Samsung front load washer is not located in front but below the top lid. And the dryer was stacked on top of the washer. And the stacked machines were in a tiny storage closet in a tiny powder room. I called them and they arranged for two people to come. They showed up, said they would do their best, and the best they did. They tried a couple of things, then just decided to brute force moving the dryer out, placed it gently on a blanket in the hallway, popped open the top of the washer, unjammed the latch, and then put everything back. I didn't even see them move the dryer! They didn't ding the doorway or walls. To emphasize, this kind of maneuvering in a tight space is something most contractors and movers wouldn't even attempt. I thought I needed to get someone to remove the powder room sink completely so we could take the washer out for repair. At the end of it, they charged me a fair price for the back-breaking work they did. They kindly advised me to not overload my washer again. They are my heroes.

At first, they were communicative, then just disappeared on me. That was unfortunate, because I wanted to work with them to complete this project. I ended up just ordering a new appliance because I had to move forward. Update: The company reached out after my review, sincerely apologized for the communication breakdown, and generously offered a refund. I declined the refund because I appreciate the time they spent diagnosing the problem. While the lack of follow-through was frustrating, I appreciate their willingness to take responsibility and address my concerns.

I wrote an email describing my 2.5-year-old LG dryer tower situation with the continuity and…read moreresistance tests I did on the thermal sensors, igniter, and the gas solenoid valves. Before I even pay a single dollar, they called me via phone to explain my broken dryer situation is somehow rare that it could be the control board or circuit inside that they are not confident it will work completely fine after the fix, which will cost me at least $600. After some conversation to check my current dryer, vent, and usage situation via phone about 10 minutes, they actually recommended me to find someone who only specializes in LG machines. (FYI, two other contractors before A Plus Appliance already gave up on this opportunity and asked me just to buy a new dryer. I contacted LG customer service three times, and every time the "real-person" chat service was like AI-scripted robot that did not help me diagnose the issues but always routed the conversation to my false on cleaning the lint trap or it is the gas line problem, and the conclusion is always to schedule their technician for a visit, which cost $400+ not including material and labor cost.) A+ Appliance guys are still eager to help me fix the dryer but they want me to understand the actual situation and the potential issues so that they are not charging me money and not able to deliver good services to their standard. It is really difficult to find this kind of honesty and service anymore. Although we did not have a business happening this time, I will always call and recommend this company to my friends for fixing broken appliances 100%. Five star no doubt.

I had an issue with my oven and previous service company gave up on after 4-5 different technicians visits. Sergey F. from Quality Appliance Repair not only fixed the issue but also explained every step of the way in plain English. Highly recommend this company.

Do not go with this company…read more Across two recent service visits, this company's technician damaged our hardwood floor and later left our oven out of position. When I shared photographic evidence, management disputed what I had seen with my own eyes and resisted putting things right. Floor damage: During the first visit, the technician dropped the top panel of our range onto our hardwood floor, leaving two visible gouges. I saw it happen, as did a handyman working in the house. When I reported it the same day with photos, management deflected responsibility. First that nothing was dropped, then that the gouges were "older damage," then that a panel "brushed against a cabinet handle" with edges "physically impossible" to cause the marks. Three incompatible accounts. Only after I declined a $50 discount on a $322 bill did they waive the labor, while continuing to petulantly insist I was mistaken about what I had seen. Oven left out of position: On the follow-up visit, the technician failed to return the oven to its original position causing significant downstream issues. When I asked them to put it right, management again shirked responsibility. They claimed it had been put there because to go further back would be a gas-line "safety issue". They told me to hire PG&E or a plumber. The crazy part: this same company correctly placed this exact oven in 2022. The oven has sat in that position for ten years. They just didn't want to finish the job, so they made up a story. The pattern across both incidents: argue with the customer, cycle through contradictory and defensive explanations, resist taking ownership. EDIT: To see for yourself, read the owner's reply. He continues to deflect responsibility for the wood gouges they caused (a concerning pattern of telling the customer they are wrong), and doubling down on a fabricated issue regarding the gas line (if true, why wasn't it a problem for the same company 4 years ago?) Photos of their negligent work attached. Hire someone else.

I chose all state because they were able to see my next day, whereas other shops could only do within 3 days. Quote for repairs was fair, but for this issue, the repair costs were close to replacement. Although I only chose to diagnose, not fix, I wouldn't hesitate to call all state in the future, and would want Abzal to be my technician if I have washer/dryer issues in the future.

Igor was given the combination to the exterior lockbox to retrieve the keys needed to access the laundry room. He left the building without completing the job and, unfortunately, failed to return the keys to the lockbox. Since then, I have made numerous attempts to contact All State Appliance, including at least three text messages and three voicemail messages to their call center, but I have received no resolution. I simply want my keys returned. This situation is unacceptable, and I expect All State Appliance to take responsibility and arrange for the immediate return of my keys. Victoria, Dear Glenn, As we discussed by phone yesterday, Igor never took your keys, and you hired another company to handle the repairs. We take every review seriously and kindly ask that you revise yours as soon as possible. We really appreciate your time and consideration. Dear Victoria, Am I being gaslit here? Yesterday, I told Igor that I would verify whether your company had taken the keys. I have now done my research, and the information I found confirms that your company was responsible for taking the keys. Rather than insisting that Igor never took them, please review your company's records and investigate the matter thoroughly before making that claim. There is also a separate issue concerning the dryer. Your company repaired it approximately three months ago, yet it has already broken down again. I paid another technician $85 to evaluate the problem, and I was quoted an additional $800 to repair the same issue your company addressed just three months ago. Igor offered yesterday to provide a free evaluation. I am declining that offer because, based on my experience with your company, I no longer have confidence in your service. I expect All State Appliance to take responsibility for these unresolved issues. Specifically, I am requesting: 1. The immediate return of my keys. 2. Reimbursement of the $85 evaluation fee I incurred. 3. Resolution of the failed repair, including reimbursement of the $800 repair cost if that is what it takes to correct the problem your company failed to resolve. I also take issue with your request that I revise my review before this matter has been properly investigated and resolved. My review reflects my experience and my repeated, unsuccessful attempts to get this situation addressed. Please investigate these matters, review your records, and respond with a concrete proposal to resolve them. I expect accountability, not a denial of my experience. Sincerely, Glenn Belen

Washer Dryer combo, and one day, the washer would not start up anymore. We gave the folks at Parkside a call, and they came out the next day on time to evaluate the issue. It turned out that the circuit board was no good anymore. Even though the circuit board for our machine was no longer in production and no longer in stock at the manufacturer they were able to find me a direct replacement board to complete the repair. Way to go! Its been a few years now since this repair, but our washer/dryer has been happy again ever since! Update: We just called them up for a repair for a gas stove, and since they don't repair gas stoves (only electric ones and most all kinds of washer/dryers), they referred me to another trusted company for that. Verdict: Great folks all. It is so refreshing to have such nice folks out there like Parkside Appliance to help us solve our once-in-a-blue-moon appliance repairs! Highly Recommended!
