I mean it when I say this is one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! First off, the staff was quick and efficient. The place was packed and I was shocked that my food was ready minutes after ordering. The portion of the burrito was GENEROUS. My only comment is that I wish they served a bigger portion of salsa with it. They have nailed how bacon should be cooked in a breakfast burrito. It must have been fate...... we were on our way out to Bryce from Kanab, and saw this little shop on the side of the road and immediately pulled over. First, shop is adorable. Second, super friendly ladies behind the counter. Third, very well priced items. Fourth, the almond danish gave us life. The coffee was really good too, but that danish was everything. The croissant was flaky and tender, two freshly cooked eggs, plenty of bacon and cheese. More than I could eat but I wasn't wasting one bite of it! Finished it off later in the day! Passed through Hatch on my way to Bryce Canyon and was pleasantly impressed by this cute coffee shop! I had a lavender latte and my brother had a dirty chai (prob the best dirty chai I've ever tasted, which is saying a lot - that's my go-to drink). The bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was downright incredible! My brother had the breakfast burrito and enjoyed it, too. The service was very friendly, prompt, and gave stellar recommendations. When you walk in, the employees are so friendly and constantly greeting people! Not to mention, super apologetic for the wait. But they were working so hard! Ordered a dark roast coffee and it was thin, weak, and flavorless. It is almost as if these folks don't drink coffee. They most certainly don't know how to brew a rich cup of dark roast. This was some of the worst coffee I have ever encountered. Definitely gravel-pourin' coffee. So poorly made that it was undrinkable and we dumped it out. I needed to desperately wash away the terrible taste of hotel buffet burnt coffee from my mouth, so a visit to this cute little coffee shop was needed. The town it's located in is also quite endearing. In addition to their traditional espresso and other caffeine beverages, they do have some hearty food options too, namely breakfast bagels and baked goods. Their Dirty Chai ($5.50) was ultra sweet though so I guess it did wash away the burnt flavor from my taste buds. It was very fragrant though which issued an exclamation from the boy when I brought it into the car. The $1.00 add-on for soy milk was a bit excessive or at least something I am not accustomed too. This was my second time to southern Utah and I have to say, this little coffee shop may be one of the highlights of my trip! I went in to the shop hungry and also not sure what to do with my day. The male employee working at the counter was so kind and helpful. He told me all about the activities near the town and recommended some hidden gems that only the locals know to go to! I ordered a croissant with egg and cheese as I am a vegetarian and when I returned the sandwich the a male cashier insisted that I ordered bacon in my sandwich. Lol Insinuating that I lied. Like why argue with a customer? Especially over chump change and insinuate that they are lying about their order? I then decided to consider ordering another item from the menue to appease the cashier but he did me the favor of insisting that I get a refund which I was relieved about. But felt he was very rude and dismissive by doing so. After handing me my refund, there was no apology, no empathy, no have a good day. Nothing. It's hard to believe that people are ignorant to this extent in this day and age. But when somebody who appears to be of Jewish, Muslim or Hindu faith, argues they did not order pork or meat, try to connect the dots and acknowledge they're not likely BSing you and take their word for it.
