This…read moreincluded repairing a detached shower head, installing a bunch of isolation valves, fixing our main shut-off valve, and repairing our water heater. He was friendly and good at explaining what he was doing and the ins and outs of the work he performed (what parts did what, how he was going to install something, and why something was needed or not). One thing I really appreciated was that he did not try to upsell me on unnecessary things that I thought we had needed to fix. We were so satisfied with Aqua Plus that we called them back 2 months later (the time of this review) for more work. Burchell helped us install a shower and also fixed our front hose spigot. If we need any sort of plumbing work in the future, I am definitely calling up Aqua Plus. Great communication, experience, and value. (Note: I've dealt with a fair share of plumbing companies in the DMV area and many of them are unprofessional, rude, or perform shoddy work. Not so with this company.)

I contacted RE Robertson to have them provide options. They came over and were very conscience of the need for social distancing. Dave the HVAC manager came by and looked at the sun-room and the old HVAC unit. He discussed different options including a 'hotel' like unit in the lower wall, putting a single room unit in the wall and replacing the old unit with a modern unit. He was very helpful in describing what would be needed for each option then provided his recommendation and a quoted price. We decided on the traditional unit since it would not require additional electrical or carpenter work the other units would require. Dave scheduled the work and the team came on time and once again were very attentive to the social distancing and wearing face masks during the removal of the old unit and the installation of the new one. The entire job took just a few hours and the team made sure everything was cleaned up and carted off. The new unit does a great job of keeping the sun-room comfortable. We have been using the room nearly every day. Having this extra space in these stay at home COVID-19 days has been a blessing. Thanks again to Dave and the whole R.E. Robertson team. They all did a great job and I would highly recommend them for your HVAC or Plumbing needs.

I called them back to make the purchase and there was one additional item that they said would probably add about $250 to the estimate. I said "fine", get me the new one and let's book that start date. They then send me an estimate for $12,441 - WAY MORE than the $250 they said. No real explanation was given other than that was their new price. Don't trust these folks - I never will again.

I knew nothing about the installed system and I needed someone to look it over. Heck, I didn't even know where the air filter was located. I called the night before after 7pm and the two gentlemen were available the next morning at 11. They went over the system, took out a filter dated from 2016(!) and replaced it with a brand new one. Did a thorough lookthru and declared everything otherwise okay. Since they were there, I asked to install a new thermostat to replace the one that was about 30+ years old. They put in a thermostat I chose off of Home Depot. They went to get it, came back and installed it quickly and efficiently. And for very fair prices. I was impressed and will definitely call again if there are any issues. BTW: I was chatting with them and they can do plumbing and electrical work too! Awesome!
