    We stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary and overall enjoyed our stay…read more Our suite was well appointed and we were very comfortable there. Loved the electric fireplace in the living room/kitchen area, just felt so cozy. The room was very clean and the bed was super nice to sleep on, like a cloud! We did have a bit of an odd experience checking in when we arrived. The lady at the front desk was nice but super flustered when our cards kept not working in their card machine. We for sure had more than enough funds on all of the cards we tried using but they kept getting declined. Finally her coworker arrived and was able to help her sort it out but it was an awkward experience overall and not the best way to start our stay there. We ate breakfast each morning downstairs as our stay included $10 per person per day. I do wish they were offering a daily menu feature just to have had a bit more variety to choose from but the food was tasty. We also dined downstairs two of the three nights we stayed - the dinner options were also delicious. We also really loved the wines they had too, lots of great selection. One evening after dinner, we sat outside at the fire pit and relaxed for a while together which was so nice. The grounds were beautiful and the resort is situated right on the water, very picturesque. The pool was super dirty when we visited so sadly we didn't use it but it was close to the end of summer (beginning of September) so perhaps it was a bit neglected at that point. Other than the pool and the bumpy check in process, overall we enjoyed our stay here and may return again someday!

    BEWARE!! BEWARE!! We…read morestayed here last year for a reasonable rate and the management was terrific but that is gone now. I'm paying $357.82 a night and I can't get a hold of management at all. Their phone number goes to a third party offsite answering service that has no information about this resort. If you need anything fixed, addressed, or even simple questions about the amenities, the answering service says you'll get a call and I have yet to receive one after 48 hrs of waiting. Here's an example... The pool shut down and we were being told that it would open in an hour. For over a day this was the answer that kept coming. I spoke with the maintenance person more specifically because management was not answering. It was clear that it would have never been an hour. They still needed to test the water and have the inspector drop by which would have never happened in an hour and it ended up being an additional day before it opened. The maintenance person was kind enough to work on it diligently but the repeated lies about the expected opening is just an indicator of how the management feels about their guests. It's day 3 since my message and no call has come. Imagine if I had a more pressing problem. We love that this is a community of cabins and I was going to book another stay for next year but I simply can't anymore. I can't risk it. There was some upgrading to the property and units since last year but now I'm seeing a management that doesn't care. I fully suspect further decline and I'm seeing the start of it. There was a wonderful young lady who worked here and she was spectacular. I've been told she is no longer here. No doubt another indicator of how management treats people. $357 a night and they won't answer the phone. That's how much they care about you. I recommend moving on to a different resort due to severely inflated fees in tandem with reduced management. Your valuable family vacay can easily be ruined here. The picture says it all. An empty office and an empty phone number scribbled on a board. 9 visits to the office.....empty.
