My policy with minimal coverage, living in Miami was almost $10,000. I called them Aug 24, 2025 to request only fire coverage, liability, law & ordinance at 25%, (state minimal) They gave it 10%. As I was told, they don't like doing that. I had to do some fast talking with Kathye. An hour & a 1/2 conversation with me, putting me on hold about 1/2 of that time: she finally gave me an approximate quote. I was told I would hear from them in approximately 24 hours. She must have made up that quote! I left for vacation the following day. I never heard anything. So Tuesday July 29 through August 6, including Sunday, I called them everyday to find out what my quote was. They gave me excuses. Your paperworks not filled out correctly. The final person I spoke with, Herbert actually left me a message the day before my policy expired that the underwriter still hadn't responded. Then they charged me the almost $10,000 via bill pay. Mind you, I called Steven the day before it was expired and told him to cancel my policy and under no terms use my credit card for "automatic bill pay"! He told me it wouldn't be!

After those 2 hours of waiting they updated the time to another 3 hours and never showed up. Apparently they are using a company called Ice Towing in Miami but they do not give you their number. Updates are received after the window so you really never know for sure how long you will be waiting. In the past AAA would send alerts to your phone constantly. Do no spend the $$ on membership and just call a local company that will give you a definite time.

He was extremely organized, conscientious, knowledgeable, attentive with a great sense of humor. Each day was very full and unique. While Jan himself was a gifted tour guide leader, he also hired dynamic and very knowledgeable tour guides who helped tell the history of the Jewish people in each country especially during WW11. Jan chose excellent restaurants and 5 star hotels. We travelled by bus, air,overnight ferry,trains. We visited museums, historical synagogues, City Halls and palaces, had opportunities to hike , get gelato, and had downtime to see the Fjords in Norway, relax by saunas, pools. Breakfast buffets were amazing. This was one of the best tours abroad that I have ever had. Just getting her on the plane required a H11 visa, a tiny piece of paper that requires a Cuban background check to allow Cuban born people to enter the country. Yaima Paez held my hand through the entire process of gathering paperwork, assembling and doing her part on her end to make sure it was received and my mother was able to visit the country of her birth. Thanks to Yaima everything went smoothly at the airport. We arrived and were met by our oncuba chofer , an incredibly charming man named Santiago who worked with us for the duration of our stay making us feel comfortable and safe. Yaima arrainged for us to see Vinales, las Terrazas, Varadero as well as getting us great seats at Tropicana. Oncuba not only made our trip possible but also unforgettable. Nov 2018 This time around we are going all in and Yaima had the patience of a saint dealing with my OCD while I applied for my mother's Cuban passport. This process took some time and back and forth between havana , miami , and New York but Yaima got me my mothers passport in time and on my mothers birthday! I am so happy with the service I received.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with American Airlines that completely disrupted my day…read moreand night On 5/2/26. My flight was scheduled for 3:35 PM, and I arrived at the airport at 12:00 noon--well ahead of time. From there, everything went downhill. The flight was first delayed to 4:15, then to 5:50, then again to 7:00 PM with little to no meaningful communication. When we finally boarded, we sat on the plane only to be told there were mechanical issues and had to return to the gate. During this time, the cabin became extremely hot, and passengers were visibly uncomfortable and sweating. After deplaning, we were sent from one gate to another multiple times with no clear direction. The chaos continued when we couldn't board another flight because the flight attendants had timed out. Then, after replacements were found, the pilot timed out as well. At 10:30 PM, we boarded again, only to sit until 11:30 PM waiting for yet another pilot. We didn't take off until midnight and I didn't get home until 2:00 AM. This entire experience was exhausting, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was no real effort to compensate passengers for the inconvenience--just a $12 voucher emailed while we were still stranded in the airport. I understand delays happen, but the lack of organization, communication, and customer care made this a terrible experience. I expected much better from a major airline.
