I have been wanting to check out seven:am for some time, following some glowing recommendations. A friend of a friend works here, but keeping my honest Yelper hat on, this review is unbiased.
So I arrived, grumpy, tired and hungry following a blunder with the tram. The place was a buzz with Saturday brunchers, but we were greeted straight away by a friendly staff member and ushered to our seats.
Coffee STAT! Was my first thought, so I got my order in for a flat white. The friend of a friend actually made it, so I was hoping it would be good. Thankfully it was good, in fact really good.
Then to the food. Being almost lunch time I decided to flip my usual breakfast script and order one of the lunch choices. My order dispatched for a chilli dog, I sat and soaked up the ambiance while I waited.
The dog eventually arrived, and hot diggity dog, this thing was awesome. I like spice and the chilli had a good kick to it, whilst not being too overwhelming. The bread was soft with a crunch and the beef sausage topped off the ensemble perfectly.
I'm glad to say I really liked this place. It's relaxed and has a good vibe about it. I will definitely come back here when I'm next in this neck of the woods. read more
