We attended sessions with Olivia for roughly a year and it was nothing short of amazing! She was wonderful with our daughter from the very start, helping her feel comfortable and confident. She pushed her when needed but never too far and was so helpful in teaching my husband and I how to continue to support her at home. Hopefully our second child won't need additional help but if he does we would definitely return to Seven Bridges and hope Olivia had availability! read more

Oliva at Seven Bridges has truly been life-changing for our family. When my four-year-old started about six months ago, he was considered nonverbal. Through Oliva's dedication, patience, and incredible skill, he has made more progress than we ever imagined possible. Today, he is now considered "emerging language," and just this past week he has turned into a little chatterbox. It's something we once only hoped for, and now we're getting to experience it every day. Oliva is not only knowledgeable, but she genuinely cares. Our daughter was seen here weekly for one year between the ages of 2.5-3.5. When we first started at Seven Bridges, our daughter was behind for her age group and now she's all caught up! Olivia is a wonderful SLP who is genuinely invested in her patients. Olivia had good tips and tools to help our daughter progress particularly with challenging pronunciations. We enjoyed the games and creative ways Olivia managed to elicit speech and our daughter would routinely look forward to our Friday morning sessions. I appreciate that Seven Bridges offers both 25 minute and 40 minute sessions. The scheduling process can be a little cumbersome if you need to reschedule and I really wish they would post their schedule of vacations and closures on an annual basis, but aside from those logistical items we were very happy with the care we received. We've worked with at least 5 SLPs over the past 2 years and Olivia was by far the best. read more

We worked with a few therapist in our time with seven bridges, and they were all great. Olivia however stood out to us because her energy and ability to connect with our child on the spectrum made a big difference. We came across her once by chance when we had to do a makeup appointment and she was available. After that appointment, we spent months checking in with the office trying to find an open slot she had that fit our schedule so we could work with her. We are grateful for our time with her, the things we learned from her, and the time our child had with her. He made big strides in communication at that time. We are so sad that Kaiser is relocating us to their services. read more

My wife has been working with Mackenzie for the past few months, and I truly don't have enough words to express how grateful we are for her. This has been one of the most difficult and emotional times in our lives as my wife is re-learning how to speak after her stroke and there have been many moments that felt overwhelming. Through it all, Mackenzie has been unbelievably patient, compassionate, and encouraging. She never rushed my wife and always made her feel supported, even on the hardest days. Because of Mackenzie's dedication, my wife has made incredible progress in such a short amount of time. The speech pathologists are GREAT, but their company policies are absolutely horrible! If you're late, you get charged $100. If you cancel an appointment the day of, you get charged $100. If you cancel an appointment and don't reschedule, you get charged $100 - but then when you try to reschedule, they don't have an appointment for MONTHS! How do they operate like this?!? I would hope they understand that they are working with children (especially ones who have speech issues) and things come up - all the time. Kids get sick, they move slow, they get frustrated when they can't communicate what they want when getting in the car, etc. One time my toddler needed to use the bathroom as we were getting into the car, which caused us to leave 2 minutes late - no problem right?! Well, then as we're driving there one of the lanes was closed on the road and that caused us to be late. Do they understand that life happens, especially with kids? NO! The next week I got a bill for $100 even though we made it to our session, just a few minutes late. Again, services are great - but their policies are trash and they really need to do better. read more

I am incredibly grateful to Teacher Gabrielle, Teacher Lindsay, and the owner, Shannon, for the unwavering dedication and compassion they show to some of the most vulnerable children. Their work truly changes lives. When my daughter started therapy at age 3, she was nonverbal. Today, she is in Kindergarten and has progressed to Gestalt Language Processing Level 4. She is now able to answer "what," "where," and "when" questions at home, especially on topics she enjoys. As a child on the autism spectrum with PDA tendencies, this kind of progress has been remarkable and we are seeing those challenges gradually lessen over time. Their patience stands out the most. My daughter began with significant elopement behaviors and echolalia, and working through those challenges is no easy task. Yet, they met her exactly where she was, with understanding, consistency, and care. I deeply appreciate the work they do every single day. The therapist was nice. We'd been going there for over a year, and after 3 missed appointments, even if you called before, the dismissed us right away. No warning. If you don't call a day before, they count as a missed appointment. I wouldn't bother going there. read more

This is for Concord office These people are ridiculous I think I wasted the last 9mo They cancelled on me constantly last min but when my child caught Covid they made it about money when I had to cancel one session because I got positive results. I never knew how my child was doing here I asked for evaluation and nothing I also let them know I was not receiving correspondence I never received my child's report card or had anyone go over it with me and I let them know. When our teacher gave notice we got dropped/discharged without any notice or explanation!!!! It's clear this place is about money and not helping children succeed please be aware. read more

I cannot recommend Kacie Bohlmann from Seven Bridges Therapy in Pleasanton enough. She's worked with our son for three years and through her support and guidance he's made exponential growth. She got to know him as an individual and would play into his interests to help develop and encourage his articulation and language. read more

I called a few weeks ago (still haven't gotten a call back after speaking to a receptionist on my original call) to see if Seven Bridges would be willing to work with my 4 year old Autustic son, and was extremely disappointed in the answers I received from one of their receptionist. When asked how do I sign up and see if they have room for my son, who was referred here by Kaiser, the receptionist told me she would put me on the list. I was excited; However, she followed that statement up with "I will put you on the list anyways; However, unless your son needs to see us every week, we will not work with you." If this is a policy, it is a very alarming one. Children with Autism already have an uphill battle, and to hear a program that says they specialize in his areas of need turn him away like that was just horrible. Regardless of how many days he needs help, he still needed the help and should have been welcomed with open arms like their website promotes. Hopefully other parents who are in my situation will read my review ahead of time, so they do not run into the same disappointment I did. This is a clear example of "don't judge a book by its cover," because what looked soo promising turned into a very negative experience for our family. read more

I called to see if there was any availability for ST for my child. The person told me I would be contacted shortly by a patient coordinator. One month later Tiffany sent me an email to let me know there wasn't any availability. They told me to check back in a few months, but I wouldn't want to work with a place that doesn't know if they have availability or not and takes so long to get back to people. read more

My child is currently being seen at seven bridge therapy in walnut creek so far its been a month since she started working with Kacie definitely have seen a difference my daughter is talking more. Kacie has is also giving me tips on how to work at home with my daughter it a teamwork we enjoy heading out every Monday after therapy is done its amazing how my little one doesn't want to come home definitely would recommend seven bridge therapy. read more

I would not recommend Seven Bridges. Now, I must admit, I had 3 no shows(which I take full blame for) and luckily, we didn't get dismissed as others have mentioned in their reviews. After each no show, I emailed them holding myself accountable, but they turned that around on me and copied my email back to me, after asking if they would waive the last fee. It was a battle for them to work with me and waive any of the fees. Mind you, I asked for this after paying my dues, $190 to be exact, and when I did pay my dues, I was told I had to pay that amount in order for my daughter to continue her sessions and not be on hold, so I did. The following week I received an email stating that management decided not to waive my fee and now I had to pay the remainder of the fees in order for my daughter to continue her session(which was scheduled for that same day). At this point, I was infuriated and wrote them back stating my issues and concerns and I requested to cancel all future sessions. It wasn't until then, that I got a response that they finally decided to waive my last no show fee. This was the Walnut Creek location, if it makes any difference. read more
