I got to take my time and peruse with no hassle or pressure, and shopping here gave me a glimpse of what and who is out there making art right now in Western Massachusetts (my beloved home base). I appreciated how well-curated everything is, and I also like that there is a wide assortment of offerings for a variety of budgets. I fell in love with a piece of jewelry, got some snacky goodness, and enjoyed the high-echelon fine art. My family comes here regularly, and, sure enough, when I got back home to California, they surprised me with a beautiful, quirky, shaggy stuffed toy by an indie designer - the perfect cure for no-longer-in-Massachusetts-blues! This isn't a tourist shop; it's a local jewel.

Chihuly's pieces are instantly recognizable, many with signature complimentary color lips. I found the works by Lino Tagliapietra mesmerizing. The Stromboli and Massai pieces captured my gaze and held it for long enjoyable moments. TIP-a check-in on Yelp netted me a complimentary catalog of Lino's works. I must have been the first because the staff seemed surprised to see the offer. I now have memories of works of art that are a little rich for my budget ( Massai was over $200k)

100% worth a visit if you're in Stockbridge!…read more I've been a fan of Chihuly's art ever since his exhibit at the NY Botanical garden, and have been dying to see some more of his art ever since. I was a bit intimidated at first when I walked in with my family since the art pieces are so delicate and the gallery was pretty quiet. Kim greeted us instantly and made us feel so welcomed -- and we set off to explore after learning a bit more about the gallery. The gallery is two-stories high, and you're able to get an AMAZING view of the Chihuly chandelier from the second-floor opening. The art pieces on display were incredible and featured artists like Martin Rosol, David Huchthausen, Lino Tagliapietra, and many others. It was my first time seeing a lot of their art up close and I would recommend coming to this gallery if you're interested in exploring different types of glass art. I wish I had checked in on Yelp for the free catalog! Remember to do that if you visit.
