This place is the best! If you're on the fence about getting any area lasered because you're concerned about the pain, fear not! I've gotten the brazilian here and the pain is VERY MINIMAL. I've been to multiple places and they have the best laser machine! It doesn't really hurt and there is a constant stream of cold air that cools the area. It is very soothing. Other places it feels like hot rubber bands and the pain can almost be unbearable. I tried to do my legs at Prolase but they did not have the same machine. It was very painful and my legs became very red and irritated. They later turned into huge patches of hives! I spoke with SEV and they said I was probably allergic to their machine that doesn't use the cold air, but cryogen (i think that's what it is called). I basically stopped going to prolase after that one treatment. If you don't like pain and hair, I cannot recommend SEV enough! read more

Purchased a Groupon for laser treatment on two medium areas. After much consideration I came to the conclusion that only one medium area was suitable for me in conjunction with what would be considered a "small" area. Seeing as One "medium" area and One "small" area is less (in size and work) than TWO "medium" areas I figured there would be no hassle in accommodations, as I am basically getting LESS than what I had originally paid for. . . Apparently Sev Laser does not see the sense in that and will not accommodate. The girl I spoke to in booking my first appointment said that I would have to purchase the small area entirely separately for 30$ each session ON TOP of the price I had originally paid for the "2 medium areas" which I am not entirely using. How does that make sense ? The fact that Sev does NOT see the logic in doing a smaller area for the price of the larger one as equal is mind blowing. I will attend the appointment after deciding to FORFEIT the other "medium" area that is not suitable to me SOLELY for the fact that I don't want to completely lose out on the money I paid for this Groupon. But I am not happy about Sev's reluctance to accommodate their clients. read more

I hate to do this. Im not someone who leaves bad reviews. But the way i was treated when i came here for a facial is unacceptable and borderline offensive. I made an appointment with Skyn by T. She said $150. And if i want to add a service, $300. I added a service- my bill was over $500. I was floored - thats a lot to pay for a bad facial. Products were bad. And when i asked what shes using, she just says its from France. Her technique was awful. Hand pressure bad, couldn't explain anything... just kept saying her stuff is expensive. You cant just sell "luxury" without backing it up at all. When i asked about the outrageous price she just said its $750 in Beverly Hills, I guess to insinuate that I'm getting a bargain here? Long story short, if it was a good facial i probably wouldn't even be writing this. But it was awful. And i feel like people need to know what they're getting themselves into. I was nervous when I began my laser hair removal treatments but the staff here is great. I have gone twice and had two different technicians and both made me feel so comfortable. They are all very friendly and the treatments are not as scary as they sound. The procedure is relatively painless compared to waxing so I am glad I made the switch. I had called for a Filler the front girl did not have any information she said I can make appointment then they will help me so I did soon as I walked in for my appointment the girls told me go apply the numbing cream in the areas where I wanted the filler I want it on the mouth area when I walked in she started working on me and when she was done she handed over the mirror to me and I said hey you did not do anything on the bottom she goes oh I thought It was on smile lines I'm like wondering how come they don't show you a mirror before they start or talk to you before they start I felt very much rushed so when I complained they said the customer service will call me and And when she did she said normally they don't do consultation customer have to ask for it I got that's very strange when I called they said they will do the consultation inside but she did not do anything I felt very much rush they charge me 550 and soon as I left they called me back saying that They made aa mistake I need to pay 750 at that point I felt like what is wrong with you guys you guys did not do what you were supposed to and now you want me to pay you more money and they said yes so please if you decide to go there talk to them because they will not talk to you or better yet go somewhere else they are not friendly at all it's like a fishmarket there they just rushing and rushing read more

Sev Laser is truly the best! I get amazing fast results without having to spend a fortune. I can't remember the last time I've even shaved my legs. Before my laser treatments the hairs on my legs were VERY prickly and would grow back almost immediately after shaving and it would become itchy. I have tried other laser places in the past and the hair would grow back full on even after 6 treatments. With Sev I hardly get any growth (even after my first session) and if I do they're super fine and non noticeable. I'm almost to the point where I'll just need touch ups...Yay!! I made an appointment to get eyebrows shaped. Got a message to confirm the appointment stating that if I canceled within 12 hours I would be charged. Cool works for me. Got a text message the night before (late) from the technician saying that the appointment would need to be canceled. If I'm not allowed to cancel the night before, why is it ok for them to? I asked for a different appointment time and was told she would get back to me with availability. Have not heard anything back and have reached out several times. So unprofessional! I had Tracy she was super informative and made sure all questions were answered and made sure I wasn't walking out of there unsatisfied. I very rarely leave bad reviews, but want to share my experience. Honestly, I was trying to rally for this place so hard since I have a few close friends who get injections, filler & laser treatments there. I want to preface that I never actually went to my appointment but want to warn others of my encounters. I originally made an apt for botox (forehead & excruciating TMJ), but due to an emergency dental surgery I had to reschedule my appointment for another time. I wasn't even able to call myself (my friend did) that's how severe the situation was. They kept my $40 deposit and once healed I called to make a new appointment. One and a half weeks prior to my NEW appointment I had another terrible dental incident that caused me to once again have surgery and due to an infection had to be put on antibiotics. Please note that my botox appointment was scheduled for a week and a half later and I had been weaning off of my medications. One day prior to my appointment I received a text message alerting me about contacting Sev incase I was using antibiotics, meds, etc. The minute I received this message, also over 24 HOURS PRIOR to my appointment I called Sev Glendale & let them know. Understandably they had to cancel my appointment and demanded to keep my $40 (!!!) deposit. Girl, what? The gal at the front desk was apologetic and I know it is not her fault but I was honest enough to let her know I would be writing this review. Their rescheduling / cancellation policy is an absolute JOKE & ludicrous. If you're not flexible (with work, kids, etc.) OR have a sudden illness, medical condition that needs immediate care do NOT bother with this place, because they will just take your money and move on. I even called the salon to talk to someone but i was just told they were on lunch and would get a call back. I bought a groupon for a discounted facial for this location. The space is really modern and chic with limited parking. The new patient form is a dooooozy, so try to ask for it ahead of time. It was my first time getting a facial so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. The woman who did my facial was gentle and didn't talk much (which I liked). Third visit yesterday and felt discriminated against. Receptionist was rude and sent me to the back to wash my hands upon arrival. Everyone else was just asked to use hand sanitizer provided at front desk. I was the only black girl in there and that was the only difference. Train your staff to treat everyone the same w your check in protocols because I didn't come there to feel racially profiled as more dirty than others and asked to do more than other people upon walking in the door as a customer. I give a 4 star to the supposed Nurse Practitioner who called me the night prior to my appointment. She was cold, quick to ask questions, sounded unprofessional for a NP. I should know, after working 17 years in healthcare & with countless medical professionals, including Nurse Practitioners. She needs improvement. New price increase-- The last straw for me. I have been a long time customer here, and the experience is slowly becoming lack luster. I schedule an appointment, I don't get taken in on time... I sit there waiting for 15-20 min... They had the audacity to introduce late fees, but if they run late.. nothing.. (which has been a regular thing) AND NOW-- a $25-30 price increase on 15 min touch up... NO way. ($80 for 15 min touch up) The only reason I kept coming back as a customer, and continued to refer people to Sev laser here was simply because appointments were easy to make and the prices were reasonable. This is not the case anymore... and I'm officially done. On a side note consultation from Doctor is done via FaceTime. Just throwing that out there. Sev was a game changer for me. Being the bit Native American I am, my hair is so course and dark. I would get five o clock shadows on my armpits nearly an hour after shaving. My beautiful nurse mindy was so sweet and accommodating. She made me feel at ease while she informed about the VERY minor pain level. She constantly checked in with me through the fast process to see how I was doing and if I was uncomfortable. Now I haven't shaved in a month. Even the gray shadow is gone! It was my first time going to Sev and getting a laser hair removal treatment done. At first I had a hard time finding the place because they don't have a sign outside and it looks pretty hidden, but I eventually found it, its right next to Starbucks! The receptionist was very nice, she gave me some paperwork to fill out and once I was done the nurse took me right in. I got my underarms lasered and it did not hurt at all. All I felt was pinching and some areas I did not feel a thing! It was pretty fast as well, in about 5 minutes I was done! I definitely recommend this place. I hope to see results soon. My first time getting lasered was at this spot, and it was not too long ago. I've been here twice. I found a better deal but this place is good. It's located within a business complex, it's on the first floor. Parking is small but not too crowded. There is a lot on both sides. These spots are marked with the designated business but I park in any of them because I can't find any marked with sev and you won't take long anyways. For first timers, you should arrive 15 minutes early. You will fill out paperwork and do a FaceTime/skype phone screening with the doctor. If you're healthy, don't take any medications, and don't do any tanning, you should be clear. The waiting area is small but wasn't crowded. After you're cleared, you go into a room with the nurse. You take off your clothes, depending whatever you're getting lasered. You get goggles to wear. The nurse marks your area with a white pencil (eyeliner?) into sections then proceeds to laser you and will ask you if it's painful the first couple of shots. She will adjust the laser intensity if needed. I clench up a lot so the nurses would turn it down, but I wonder if it makes it less effective. My experiences here were not too painful. There's a cooling air immediately after being zapped, which makes it feel better. I've been here twice. My second time I arrived, machine broke. They've also called me to reschedule on my second appointment before. I don't know if this is a common occurrence but they've made it up to me. I've had a good experience here overall. read more

I have really thick black hair but ever since I been coming it has totally almost disappeared !! I will continue coming for more treatment!
