I'm new to laser hair removal and this place was recommended by a friend. I will say my experience with the NPs thus far has been great, and I find they are all comfortable answering my questions. Unfortunately, I haven't had the best experience with their front desk. I had an appt. for 1:55 pm and was going to be late (arrive at 2pm) because I was having issues with door fob (not the company's fault). I called to let them know that I was on my way and my arrival. Immediately was told that I'll need to reschedule because they have lunch at 2pm and the doors would be locked. Um, what happened to grace periods?! It was just honestly ridiculous. I arrived at 1:59 but was immediately told that it was my only accommodation. Funny enough - I was called for my first appt. asking how far I was as I was walking in (parking here is terrible). Do not let life happen to you before your SEV appointment because they don't care. I'm relocating soon so I'm going to visit this location one more time, but I probably won't recommend to anyone else. read more

First time getting laser hair removal and all I can say is WHY DID I WAIT THIS LONG? Meliza (not sure if i spelled that correctly) was so nice and made me feel very comfortable. The place was very clean and bright. The waiting area has a comfy couch and the receptionists are nice and helpful. The only downside is parking at this location but that is nothing the business can control so I still give this place 5 stars! read more

So far so good, 4th session now for face and Brazilian and I have to say my face really did improve. Since I do laser, I am also doing facials once a month which has been helping with my scars. For Brazilian, it's been amazing. I am noticing a huge difference down there, the hair is very thin now like a grain of rice, I honestly shave here and there but I believe by my 6th session I will be done.... Hopefully I am middle eastern AND WE ARE HAIRY. Nurse Lizzy Daoud is good! She takes her sweet time on what areas to concentrate on and she asks you many times, how's the pain level... ESPECIALLY FOR BRAZILIAN, I always tell her go higher and she tells me the higher we go the better the hair gets removed faster. I hold it in, while she does the Brazilian. I really love the nurses here they are super friendly and I love that their machine has almost a continuous cool shot of air that makes the hair removal pretty much painless. They're front desk could be a little nicer but I'll take the good with the bad. read more

I've been coming here for over 2 years and overall I'm pleased with my experience. Parking is a little difficult since they share the back lot with other businesses but people usually come and go quickly and spots open if you wait a few minutes. I have however parked on the street a few times and walked the half block or so. The girls at the desk are usually really nice. It's easy to make appointments either by texting or calling them. They're pretty organized and send email confirmations and texts to confirm appointments. I've never waited more than 10 minutes to be called in. I've been pretty pleased with my results so far. It's important to know that hair is never completely removed with laser, just minimized. My hair has gotten finer and less in quantity overtime, but keeping up with consistent appointments helps the skin remain hair-free. My favorite nurse is Tracy, she is so so sweet and patient, always explains everything, answers questions, and makes you feel comfortable. The laser they use is very high-tech and the process is always very quick. There's a constant air blowing on your skin which keeps the skin dry and minimizes any pain. You just feel a rubber band snap. And with every appointment, they increase the power of the laser. The prices are also really reasonable. I also like that they have package deals; you can get five treatments for the price of six. The only thing that was weird to me is that the initial consultation with the doctor was done through FaceTime. Maybe it's just me but I found myself feeling a bit uncomfortable FaceTiming a doctor/person I didn't know. However it was quick (he asked a few questions to clear me for treatment) and then I was all set to make an appointment for laser treatment. I am giving 5 stars for Lauren and not office manager Kasadra. Let me begin by saying i have been going to SEV laser since Sevana Petrosian was doing laser 2011. You figured out how many years and when Angie Sevana sister was a receptionist. Both of them were so wonderful that they traveled 3 locations in Glendale, and as valued customers, i traveled locations with them because of how much i enjoyed customer service and results. That was then and let me tell you how i feel about this past 3 years Sev laser customer service gotten horrible and i think because the management they hire is either owners friends that have power trip and think they can call and be rude to the customer like Kasadra did today. Because i really like Lauren RN the way she approaches customers,always so sweet,smiling and great results i been getting, because i do pay money and in the past i did see other RN's that did my laser at Sev very nice but i didn't see results, so i preferred to only see Lauren for my laser treatments. That's being said, i never miss any of my appointments and lakely i get attitude because i question why i get text message day before of my appointment that Laure will not be available and Monica will be taking care of me ? So i replied on my text no i prefer to be seen by Lauren, and if they can call me KASADRA called back i was in the car ,on the speakerphone and i have 3 people in my car as a witness how rude she was speaking to me and accusing me raising my voice when she was on speaker since i was driving and Kasadra rudely interrupted me ,wile i was trying to explain, didnt let me speak by saying that Lauren goes to other locations and not available. I asked if Sev laser owners changed, and she said rudely, i dont know, but I'm management. So if she is management and can talk rude, then what will her workers learn from her? These past 3 years, i noticed and voiced my concern to Angie, the email i had, but i think she is not even seeing the emails. i am sure it goes to management like Kasadra.The manager before Kasadra that was armenian was also rude forgot her name and i think she has note in the computer that is allowing another management to speak to me rude because they lie that customers are rude to make themselves look good. You wanted my opinion because you sent me to yelp you, and here is the truth customer service if the front desk the younger girl was really nice , new management horrible, new prices increased and no apologies made,infact they talk to you rude and say that customers are at fault now days thats normal!misunderstanding expectations, and lack of employee engagement. Kasadra has no customer service skills,she should be retrained and not from the previous manager! Lauren is the only reason that i go to Sev laser because she represents Sev like Sevana and Angie did in the past! Now, this is my honest review. They dont let you know things in advance and always blame customer instead of looking for their actions by causing customers to get upset and blame us! Never once i had issues with any of the workers but this past 3 years they keep changing my schedule, going back and forth with set up time and on top of all that give me attitude when i ask why. I am planning to finish my last few visits with Sev laser and not return, since they dont appreciate valued customers thats been with them for more than 10 years! I dreamt one day of never having to shave again. Right... and also being invisible, and reading people's minds. A girl can dream, right?! Soon after, however, I saw an ad for SEV Laser in Walnut Creek. I initially had questions on effectiveness, safety, pain-level, and how it even works, so I decided to do some research, and ultimately booked a six-treatment package, starting with less visible areas of the body - just in case something went terribly wrong. I had to laugh at myself after the first treatment, which lasts all of about 15 minutes (for both underarms and full Brazilian). It wasn't painful, and uncomfortable is even too strong of a word: it was incredibly tolerable. The RN was super friendly - which probably helps if you're shy, because she's definitely going to go everywhere!! (Like, lay on your side and spread 'em!!) I'm only two treatments in but I've had a great experience so far and results have been noticeable, so I cannot wait for the final result, which is about 4 months away. After that, I'll definitely wipe out the legs next. Which should be about the right time, because you want to avoid sunlight/tanning the treated area for two weeks before getting it done, so summer might not be the best time to get started on legs if youre outdoors a lot. read more

I would definitely recommend choosing another place to get your laser hair removal if you are searching on Groupon. They have so many restrictions. I work in the sun im a server but my Brazilian was already growing back faster than before after my fourth visit and I needed another session but because I couldn't get my arms done as well having tanned, my arm session was forfeited and it was recommended not to continue my arms until winter so I will not be able to schedule my Brazilian again until then so now I will be growing hair again or have to forfeit the last two sessions on my arm. Booked an appointment for Botox in the fall of 2019 and was happy with the results. I decided I would book a joint appointment with a friend on October 2, 2020 in Glendale. I had 30 units which is normal for me, my friend received 40. Off the cuff I could tell something was a bit off but I waited and I did not see any results. I spent $345 which included a $45 tip. He noticed improvement which lasted for about 3 weeks and quickly faded to nothing by November. Both my friend and I were unhappy with our results so we contacted Sev Laser by email. I explained what happened and cc'd my friend on the email to show the lousy results just 5 weeks post treatment. I received no reply from Sev Laser and my friend received an email offering a pathetic $7 per unit (instead of paying $10) to accommodate for watered down botox. Trust me. Go elsewhere if you are looking at getting Botox. I went to Snatched LA 4 weeks after my appointment and paid $12 per unit for another 30 units and am very happy with my results from them. read more

Darker skinned women beware- if i could give 0 stars I would! I received a "test patch" on my second appointment and they burned me beyond belief. I had a huge open sore on my arm for months- and it has still not healed 3 months later. Their MD tried to claim this was a normal occurrence yet my derm was horrified when I went in for a check in. They had the audacity to offer me 1 free session as compensation for this?! The burn will take a year to heal and I will likely need bleaching cream to fade the scar. STAY AWAY read more

I have had a very positive experience with "Sev LASER aesthetic" today! This was my first time of LASER treatment ever! Nevertheless I have quite sensitive skin, it was not even lightly irritated!! Not even it turned light red as I was expecting! Nothing!!!! Just PURE and HAIR FREE skin, even right after the procedure! Isn't this miraculous?! The space is very harmonious, super clean, accommodated very modern! I easily found parking behind the entrance, at parking space. The staff was super nice! I've had my procedure with TRACY, she was super nice, knowledgeable, very helpful and she explained everything that one should know about the pro and post treatment care. So this is an update- I have been to Sev twice now and aside from the initial stubble that occurred after first visit (this is supposed to happen as old hair is shedding ) I have had no hair growth. In only 2 sessions!! I will continue to go for at least 6 sessions as they suggest but I am so pleased. Can't wait to start other areas! *********************** I have only had 1 appointment with Sev Laser in Glendale and it was a wonderful experience. I had a really bad experience with laser removal 13 years ago and got burned really bad. Tracey took the time to explain the improvements in lasers since I had been and explained how there are different lasers for various skin types. I am African American with a darker skin tone so this really put me at ease. She did my underarm The pain was very tolerable and honestly, waxing hurts a lot more. There were some areas I didn't even feel. Parking was easy and the check in process was quick and efficient. Again this is my first session so I have to see how the remaining sessions go and how long it takes for hair to stop coming in. Can't wait for my next appointment. I usually don't do reviews but I feel like other women/men need to be warned before hand. I found Sev Laser on Instagram & they were promoting their juvederm plus for $500. They take care of a lot of celebs so I was assuming they had to do good work. About a year prior I had a syringe of juvderm done by Dr. J which came out amazing but he was almost double the price. I made an appointment to go into this Glendale location & when I arrived they did not have the juvederm plus (even though I made my appointment a week prior) but I understand that things happen and did not mind doing the regular juvederm. My injector was Raffi (he is a RN), he was extremely nice but after the injections my lips looked HUGE. He told me this was normal and it would go down (not what happened the first time I had injections) but I said okay! He said I could massage them a bit to smooth out lumps, etc. Now I'm going to show you guys how things with my lips went after this: 1st picture: the night of (Feb 23) 2nd pic: feb 26 3rd / 4th pic: feb 27 5th pic: February 28, when I finally went in to get half a syringe of dissolver. Last pic is me right now. I'm only giving this a 1 star rating because Raffi was extremely kind. He is a super nice person but I suggest going to a doctor to be injected. I had half a syringe dissolver injected , which hurts very very bad. He did this free of charge which I appreciated as well. I haven't received my treatment yet, but the customer service so far is superb!! I will update this review once I have the laser done, but for now I'm so happy I picked this location. I have an appointment coming up and I called in to let them know I was concerned about my face because I'm going through a severe rosacea flare up. I immediately was told that a registered nurse would call me back and she did! The nurse called me asked me for pictures and immediately called me back and expressed her concern with applying laser on an area that is irritated. Not only was she professional, she also recommended I see a dermatologist. She told me a manager would call me to discuss arranging a different body part I could have laser on instead. Very disappointed. Went in about a week ago to get lip injections, and came out looking worse. Seriously I was BOTCHED!!! I message the technician through IG that did my 1 full syringe today, and didn't get a response. I know I'm suppose to let the swelling go down which I did. I noticed from the moment I left that one side was bigger than the other. I immediately messaged the technician with pics. I was advice to wait for the swelling to go down. I did but my lips still look deform. My hard earned $500 went straight down the drain!! I also didn't get the 10% off since I heard from them on yelp, and I was a first time customer. I didn't want to post a negative feedback and gave them the opportunity to rectify the situation but nothing was done. Two days ago, I went to the Glendale location for my appointment, which was at 12:40pm. I got there a few minutes earlier than my appointment time and waited. At 1:05pm, after waiting for 25 minutes past my appointment time, I had to leave since I was late for everything I had to do for the rest of my day. My appointment time was for 15 minutes and I waited 10 minutes past that time. I kept approaching the receptionist and was told there is nothing she can do they are running behind. I didn't get a call before going in that they are running behind. With a strict policy they have that if you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will get charged half your total service fee, and you can't show up 5-10 min past your appointment time or you get charged and can't do the services., I'm wondering why the same standards don't apply to them for making a client wait for so long. I tried to reach to management to remedy the situation, but clearly no one rectified the situation or got back to me so I'm writing this review for fellow clients to be aware. read more

I have spent thousands of dollars, referred multiple people, and been on-time or early for all of my appointments for over a year -- I was 15 minutes late for one appointment due to a Doctor's appointment running over and the workers at Sev made ZERO effort to assist me / make it work. I'm a little annoyed that they literally charged me $75 cause my baby sitter was late and I couldn't make my appt and you can't even be a couple minutes behind. I've been looking into hair removal for awhile now and I'm so glad I waited til I found SEV! The whole facility is super cute and welcoming. The staff was incredible helpful, and very patient with me as I had quite a few questions. My appointment for my bikini line took less than 10 minutes. I've previously had laser tattoo removal (which hurt pretty bad), but I literally couldn't even feel this. Lauren was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. The only complaint I have, which is no complaint about the business itself, is that parking is difficult. Just make sure to allow adequate time to find parking.
