JC Pennys and Dillards are still staples and there are an abundance of kiosks and specialty stores. And a food court. And a huge Arcade.

The Jefferson Mall has improved since I first reviewed six month ago. They have better stores,…read morecleaner, and low traffic. I rarely come here but maybe make more trips to it. Dilliards and Jc penny are some of the anchor stores. I saw a new barber shop and candy shop as some of the new tenants. Both of them were appealing and tempting to try. They also have a new video game shop , Round 1, that I reviewed a few months ago as well. It has a bowling ally in it as well. The LensCrafters staff was friendly and easy to work with. The eye doctor did a thorough job checking my eyes and my vision improved. The only issue was the apprentice sales person who didn't give 50% off that my wife got on my frames and didn't add the extras that I asked for several times. I got to call them tomorrow to get that fixed. The mall has improved and that a positive. If it been awhile since you dropped by, give it a another shot.

I know this reference might not make much sense in a couple of years, but I couldn't stop thinking…read moreabout how it applied to my visit to the new Zappos outlet. Imagine: You're walking up and down the aisles, picking up boxes to peruse the contents. There are price tags but with all of the talk of discounts, you ask out loud, "So how much do these shoes really cost?" And then comedian Nate Bargatze strides up to you as George Washington, just like in the now viral SNL sketch. He puts a hand on your shoulder reassuringly. He replies: "Nobody knows." So it was with that confidence that my husband and I strode to the cash register, supremely mystified if we would be asked to pay $50 or $250 for the three pairs of kids shoes and one pair of adult sneakers. (Thankfully, the bill came to closer to $100.) We checked out the new Zappos outlet on its opening weekend, when it was advertised shoppers would get an additional 30% off their purchase. And we found an outlet with a decent number of shoes for adults and kids, plus several racks of clothes as well. I was in a bit of a rush, so we didn't take too long to look, mostly zeroing in on what we were there to find. This outlet was hopping, but everything seemed well organized and clean. The only confusion came from the prices, with signs saying there were even more discounts than the 30% off. I would definitely come back here when I had more time to shop.

It is a good store. It is completely hit or miss. I tried to stop in when I can. I wish they would…read moreupdate their website with hours and sale.

We needed to return a $150 coffee pot that I bought online because it was leaking. I did not have…read morethe box but did have the emails supporting my purchase and delivery. So I wasn't sure how the return would go. But Carla, at the return desk was super efficient, pleasant and professional and had a credit posted to my account within 2 minutes, using information from my emails. We shopped (to use some of that credit since I had already paid the bill) and a clerk in rhe store was also super friendly and helpful inquiring if we needed help. Dressing rooms were free of cluter and accessible. Overall, an easy experience and I was able to use some of my credit on new dresses.

Wow has khols gone down hill. First, I went looking for…read moreshoes... none of the shoes have pricing. They want you to download the app and scan them.. when you do an alert pops up that pricing online is different than in store.... Okay then why did i spend the time to do all that when the price isn't even accurate. Not to mention if you could find a shoe you liked, the boxes were no where near the display. I literally could t find one pair I was looking for and I looked for a half hour. Finally gave up and went to look at the clothes only to see that department unorganized too. Find a pair of shorts and go to find my size there's a 3, then 17 then a different pair of shorts all together... same with every shirt or dress I liked. Some tank tops on this side of the store and the same ones on the other side. I have never been so frustrated... just walked out with nothing after being there more than an hour simply. Because everything was so unorganized
