Goodwills have popped up all over the Louisville area. I have like 4 within a 5 mile radius of my home and this is one of those locations. My biggest experience with goodwills is dropping of the donations at the drive they drop off. This locations has a decent sized area and usually has a worker who is pretty quick to come and help unload and offer you a tax break card (for some reason I always say "no thanks" to getting one). I have gone inside this location a time or two. My oldest daughter absolutely loves shopping at the goodwill. So do her friends. She an older soul so she loves seeing all the older items and she actually loves clothes shopping there. Which won't get any complaints from this dad. I'll take some bargain hunting prices sometimes. Overall pretty standard goodwill location. It does the job intended and it makes it easy to donate and be charitable as this are so many around now.

I don't know why things are so expensive!!! It's donated goods. All goodwills are doing this, no shame on the store particularly.

I know this reference might not make much sense in a couple of years, but I couldn't stop thinking…read moreabout how it applied to my visit to the new Zappos outlet. Imagine: You're walking up and down the aisles, picking up boxes to peruse the contents. There are price tags but with all of the talk of discounts, you ask out loud, "So how much do these shoes really cost?" And then comedian Nate Bargatze strides up to you as George Washington, just like in the now viral SNL sketch. He puts a hand on your shoulder reassuringly. He replies: "Nobody knows." So it was with that confidence that my husband and I strode to the cash register, supremely mystified if we would be asked to pay $50 or $250 for the three pairs of kids shoes and one pair of adult sneakers. (Thankfully, the bill came to closer to $100.) We checked out the new Zappos outlet on its opening weekend, when it was advertised shoppers would get an additional 30% off their purchase. And we found an outlet with a decent number of shoes for adults and kids, plus several racks of clothes as well. I was in a bit of a rush, so we didn't take too long to look, mostly zeroing in on what we were there to find. This outlet was hopping, but everything seemed well organized and clean. The only confusion came from the prices, with signs saying there were even more discounts than the 30% off. I would definitely come back here when I had more time to shop.

It is a good store. It is completely hit or miss. I tried to stop in when I can. I wish they would…read moreupdate their website with hours and sale.

Dilliards and Jc penny are some of the anchor stores. I saw a new barber shop and candy shop as some of the new tenants. Both of them were appealing and tempting to try. They also have a new video game shop , Round 1, that I reviewed a few months ago as well. It has a bowling ally in it as well. The LensCrafters staff was friendly and easy to work with. The eye doctor did a thorough job checking my eyes and my vision improved. The only issue was the apprentice sales person who didn't give 50% off that my wife got on my frames and didn't add the extras that I asked for several times. I got to call them tomorrow to get that fixed. The mall has improved and that a positive. If it been awhile since you dropped by, give it a another shot.
