Owner was actually in store today and was chatting it up with other customers but failed to greet, nod, smile or acknowledge myself, my wife or my daughter as she walked passed us several times and barely answered our question about an item (gave us a one word answer). We asked if she was the owner because that says a lot about a business and walked out having an experience that people of color are all too familiar with. We collectively decided we wouldn't be returning.

The small is $1.50 and the large is $3.50. My skin feels so soft and smooth after use. If you're into smaller items or beauty items like myself, they have cute lotions, deodorant, and lip products as well. These would be perfect for a gift bag or to throw in your bag. I can't speak for the quality of the clothes, but I was surprised that the prices were actually affordable. The quality felt good when I searched though the racks. A lot better than fast fashion places. If you're in the neighborhood I would definitely stop by. This place is a treat.

The minute we walked in, we said hello, but we got no response back. I didn't walk out because my son was pretty excited to take me shopping there. But I didn't know that he noticed as well. We looked around for a little bit. They do have really nice stuff that I wanted to purchase, but I decided not to give that establishment my money. When we walked out, my son was in front of me. He had a bag with other stuff that he purchased at other stores, and the lady was just looking at him up and down, like if my son took something. I turned around, looked at her, and said 'you have a good day.' Once again, she didn't respond. She made us feel super uncomfortable.

I was directed to their IG account @theshopspecialty , called the # on IG since the business hours was not listed . In their IG videos they specialize in clothing and vintage items, nostalgic fashion items and toys . They do stock seasonal clothing such has ski boots, ski overalls , winter pants and jackets . stop in to donate some bags of toys and clothes . We were a bit early the young gentleman was kind to let us drop our donations. He invited me in the store while he set up to open. My initial thought was the store smells so good with scented vanilla aroma , the store is clean, well organized . Price is comparable to other similar type stores. They do specialize in snow gears , by appointment only , merchandise selection is depending on inventory availability. Spoke to the young employee, he also me mentioned they own the Smile Time Party Rentals in the same parking lot. When it transitioned to online, it was a fun way to spend part of my Saturday while I did chores, running over to my laptop to bid as my items came up. It was always a pleasant experience when picking up my treasures; all the staff are so friendly and helpful, and insisted on loading everything in my van for me. Then I fell in love with a man in Palm Desert and it was time to downsize my 5 bedroom Victorian home in Los Angeles and sell it. The Redlands Auction staff made the long drive to come out and accepted about 90% of my offerings and spread them out between 2 auctions. I was more than pleased with what my antiques brought in, and it saved me so much time trying to sell them another way. Now it's a couple years down the road I am back in the buying market again to add my own touch to our desert and mountain homes, and of course Redlands Auction is where I turn! I have gotten some AH-mazing deals!

At one point my kids walked into a section we weren't supposed to and they kindly asked if we'd like to help them work letting us know that wasn't a public area to peruse! I did and it was $7 I was thrilled but then she told me it was half of that! Though the prices are awesome, the staff made it a positive experience!
