We…read morecalled ServiceMaster in panic when our basement flooded and it has been nothing short of a horrendous nightmare ever since. This company has done things to jeopardize our health in our home , damaged our property, and withheld our belongings from us due to mistakes their own company made. The amount of money this company has cost us and the stress and aggravation of trying to get them to help us has been the worst customer service experience I have ever gone through. They put 0 effort in to trying to assist us despite being paid a large sum for their work. Unless you want to be talked to and treated poorly and have your issues grow larger, I would advise staying away from this company. I am also willing to provide videos and documentation regarding my review. I have no reason to make false accusations as much is I truly wish this was not my reality as it has caused tremendous grief and hardship. For health and safety concerns: Despite us reminding the team to cover the return to our hvac system before starting to demo the mold areas they admitted that they forgot to cover the return during demo which allowed for the mold to spread through the hvac into the house where our newborn baby was. When some contents were returned our house was left wide open with our alarm system broken off and it was not until we went down after feeling a breeze that we noticed it. We did call the police that night. Property damage: There are footprints on the broken property. Again, police were called. Withholding contents: we called your company well in advance to see what we would need to do to get our belongings back when we were ready and were told by the manager that giving a day or two notice is all it would take and nothing else was needed. When we called back with a day or two notice we were then told we would not be able to get our stuff back due to an outstanding bill. This outstanding bill was never sent to insurance (according to our adjustor) or myself and the initial bill that was sent had been paid in full. When we asked simply for the bed and clothes out of the unit we were also denied that. People have been out of their home during this process and your company is prolonging that tragedy. Insurance has not withheld any payments that they have been billed for and yet you will not allow us access to our belongings. We were told when our stuff was taken that if we needed to get something out at any point that would not be an issue. This is not the case. The first time we requested contents it took several weeks to get anything released as well. I would be glad to speak to anyone willing to have a conversation about what we have gone through. I leave messages and send emails often. I have tried to reach corporate office and it seems they are very busy.

While they initially quickly responded and went to the property, it took more than 2.5 weeks for them to tell me that this job is "too small" for them, despite more than 5 calls from me in the intervening time requesting an update. Even a week after the home was visited, I spoke with the owner/Mike, who told me to expect some time for the paperwork to be put together, they're working on it...but apparently they weren't. At this point, the entire experience has been a colossal waste of my time.

I've known Mike for four years, he is honest, personable, professional, extremely knowledgable and experienced, and offers incredible help during instances of home damage. My house had roof damage from a northeast blizzard, and Mike stepped in to handle the insurance claim, the repairs and took care of everything from A-Z giving me a wonderful sense of ease and peace of mind. Then when I had tree fall damage to my home, again Mike and A+ were there to take care of everything. After any kind of damage - storm, blizzard, wind, fire, tree fall, flood, etc. Mike will be there quickly to thoroughly inspect the premises and building, bring in any needed emergency assistance in terms of the building or home, then take over working with the insurance company in order to get the fairest and best results during the entire process. Then he will coordinate any construction and repair needs in a wonderfully professional manner. I've never had an experience before like I did working with Mike and A+, I never knew such help existed and I am so thankful for all the support and help he gave me. He is extremely responsive - always just a phone call away, patient, and goes the extra mile to help. He gets my highest recommendation and I trust him implicitly. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

avoid these evil people at all costs!…read more if i could give zero stars i would. we paid $695 and these people never showed up and refused to give us a refund. our pipe burst in house. we call them at 3:30pm. they say they have someome in waterford right next to us and he will be there in a hour. they tell us they only accept prepayment. so we paid. after they take payment they then say they will be there 5-7 pm. so we call ed's plumbing who came right away and only bills after sefvices are completed. at 5:30 pm as ed's plumbing is finishing up. these nasty people at tmg call us and ask if anyone is here. we tell them yes we had someone show up. i asked is a plumber en route? they say not yet but soon. noone ever showed up from tmg. 9 am the next morning, i call tmg the next morning and the billing lady, brandy says she will issue a refund since services were not rendered. 1 hour later, brandy calls back and says they changed their mind and will not issue refund. this is not how you do business. this is how criminals operate. we have filed the following so far: 1) complaint with state of ct 2) complaint with better business bureau 3) fraud investigation is underway with bank calling them was the worst decision i ever made.
